KEEPER: Big Nate Heron is the choice here, as the Rio Americano player is committed to play at Cal Poly-Humboldt next season. He is a big, intimidating presence and a big reason why the Raiders won the SJS Division II title and reached the NorCal DII title match.
DEFENDERS: This team was heavy on midfielders and forwards, so only two defensive choices here and they are two juniors in Jake Tyberg Jake Tyberg 6'2" | D Whitney | 2024 CA from Whitney, who will be playing at the next level and should be committed as a senior, as well as Giovanni Brunolli who was a big standout for an Oak Ridge team that had a fantastic season.
MIDFIELDERS: A very talented group where three of these four are playing in college next season. Quinn Mahoney Quinn Mahoney F Rio Americano (CA) | 2023 CA was a force for Rio Americano and his heading to Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, while Caleb Yoon Caleb Yoon M CA , the Davis standout, is going to Sonoma State. Darius Dukes Darius Dukes M CA was an incredible player in the midfield for Whitney, and he is Chico State bound. Senior leader and Jesuit standout Kaleb Afsari rounds out the four and he is headed to the University of San Francisco to play.
FORWARDS: Two Davis players on the list as the Blue Devils had an incredible attack. Sacramento State commit Simon Vaca-Lorenzi Simon Vaca-Lorenzi F CA is one of the headline players of the Section, and JJ Guerra, who returned to the high school scene, was a very prominent attacking player this season. Ben Elkins had a fantastic season for an Inderkum side that lost only once, and is headed to Gonzaga. Northern Section champs Chico were led by Ruben Flores-Thomas and he is going to be playing at San Jose State.
