<p>There's less than a week of play left in the soccer high school season in the state of Texas and from the thousands of teams that were in action not long ago, only 24 will make the trip to Georgetown for the State Tournament this week, from Wednesday to Saturday.</p>

<p>These were the best teams in the Lone Star State up to this point of the season and expect some tough battles for the six state titles to take place over the next four days at the Birkelbach Field. We've prepared previews for each division in order to get you ready for what's to come next.</p>

<p>The Celina Bobcats from Celina will make their third-straight trip to the State Tournament and will try to defend the title they won last season. The Bobcats are undefeated in the season with 27 victories and cruised in district play, winning all their ten District 11 matches while scoring 102 goals and conceding none. In the playoffs, they knocked out Nevada Community, Dallas Pinkston, Mabank, Jacksonville and Anna, winning each match by at least three goals.</p>

<p>The Boerne Greyhounds from Boerne will appear in the State Tournament for the fourth time in the last decade and will meet Celina, the opponents that eliminated them in the semifinals last year - their best campaign was in 2017, when they played in the State Final. The Greyhounds' season record shows 26 wins and only two losses and they went undefeated in District 26 with 12 victories (58 goals for, four against). Boerne moved past Georgetown Gateway Prep, San Antonio Kennedy, Burnet, Corpus Christi Calallen and Davenport in the playoffs.</p>

<p>The Stephenville Honeybees from Stephenville will make their third appearance in the State Tournament and on the previous two (2017 and 2019), they won the title. The Honeybees have 24 victories and one tie for the season and dominated District 5 with 12 wins (55 goals for, four against). Their postseason opponents on their way to Georgetown were Ferris, Bridgeport, Waxahachie Life, San Elizario and Salado.</p>

<p>The Lumberton Lady Raiders from Lumberton are set to make their third trip to the State Tournament in four seasons and will be looking to move past the semifinals for the first time. With a season record of 21 wins, two losses and one tie, the Lady Raiders were the top team in District 17 with a perfect record of 12 victories (72 goals scored, one conceded). In the postseason, Lumberton defeated East Chambers, Bellville, Hardin-Jefferson, Bay City and Lorena.</p>
