The Florida rankings highlight a number of great prospects among the forward position from ECNL, Girls Academy, and other club leagues. There are players with ODP National Team level experience as well as undiscovered gems in this group.

Swart is a dual-sport athlete and might be better at her other sport than soccer. Swart is one of the best track athletes in the country with a speciality in hurdles from short to mid-range distance. She recently ran a 1:05.38 in the 400M hurdles. That puts her in some elite company. Her 100M time was also very impressive at 14.65. On the field, that speed shines. She has destroyed some ECNL defenses this season. Even when she is crowded and playing against a low-block, Swart still found ways to score. She strikes the ball well and has good skill to keep control under pressure. She is one for scouts to circle when she is on the field in the future.
Wallen had some standout moments for the Florida Elite SA 07 ECNL side. She is a dynamic player who is always looking to get forward, but still takes her defensive responsibilities seriously. She did well with a slide tackle to stop an attack from the opposition. She was quick on the dribble and tough to contain.
I’ve seen Morse play on the wing and also as a No. 9. I think she’s better on the wing, but there is room for her to develop into a standout in the center forward role. She is quick – both in the open field and with her feet in tight spaces. She can dribble and cut past players with ease. She is very dangerous in 1v1 situations which shows her asset for the team. She could improve as a finisher in those chances, but there is plenty of promise there for her to be on the radar for scouts.
Quick feet, speedy option on the right wing. Can fly past defenders with her pace and whip in a cross, but she is also capable of beating a player on the dribble and cutting inside. Dynamic playmaker from the wing.
Peterson is a player with a lot of potential. She is an attacking talent on the IMG Academy team. She has been invited to the Girls Academy Talent ID and US Soccer Regional ID events. She has the tools to be a difference-maker at the highest levels of the youth game. She can play as a center forward, support striker, or attacking midfielder. Her best attribute is her dribbling. She keeps close control of the ball even while under pressure. She is good with either foot too. She is a good finisher, but could improve on that aspect of her game. IMG Academy has helped with the development of a number of players in recent years, so Peterson making the leap from a good talent at the state level to a national team level player is entirely possible in the next 18 months.
Highlights
Hartofilis was named to the ODP 08 National Roster for Dallas Cup. She has also been called into US Soccer Regional Talent ID events. She is a tall attacking talent with excellent vision and killer passing. She can play on the wing or as an attacking midfielder. Her movement and runs off the ball in the attack are very good when she is on the wing. She times her runs well and plays off the shoulder of the last defender. When she is on goal, she is not going to be caught. She has pace and a long stride. She is a calm finisher who will dribble around the keeper when the opportunity presents itself. As an attacking midfielder, her vision and passing shine bright. She is one of the best passers – in both her vision and ball-striking technique for passing. She is a physical on-ball defender. Her off-ball activity defensively could improve – she definitely seems to prefer scoring than defending. Hartofilis has a ton of potential and is one to watch for the future.
Brooks is an exciting player from the 2026 class that should have plenty of scouts already aware as she is starring against some of the best players from the 2025 class in the 07 age group. She is a winger who offers an high-level all-around game. She is a good finisher for the position with the capability of burying a shot from a tight angle. She is also a weapon in aerial duels. The ECNL All-Conference honoree is one to watch.
