Hendricks is a center forward who should have plenty of suitors among top programs. She is a prototype for a back-to-goal target forward. She is excellent in hold-up play. She uses her frame well and easily holds off center backs. She has a good first touch and keeps close control of the ball. She is a pretty good finisher – right footed and normally smashes the ball through the net. Hendricks is a player who should be considered among the best in this class in the traditional No. 9 role. She offers a lot as a prospect in that position – scorer, combination play, and threat on direct balls.
Palmeri is a center back who caught our attention at the National Event in Phoenix. Her game tape backed up that performance. She is a right-footed center back that typically lines up at left center back. She is quick! She uses that paces in a couple of smart ways. She will beat the forward to the ball on slow entry balls because she has that fast first step and puts her body in front of the opposition and the ball. The other trademark of her game is her comfort on the ball. She will use her pace to break the first line of pressure in the build-out. With the ball at her feet, Palmeri is a weapon to charge past a soft line of pressure. With the right coach at the next level, she could emerge as a top center back from this class given the impressive foundation of fundamental skills and competitiveness defensively.
Highlights
Maddie Parrott is an athletic shot-stopper for Scorpions SC. The goalkeeper was part of the ECNL National Selection last summer. She has been equally as good this season for her club team. She is comfortable off her line, has excellent quick reactions, and an advanced diving technique for high shots. Parrott is tough to beat in goal. Her best quality is how she does on close shots with good technique and cat-like reflexes. Parrott is one of the top goalkeepers in this class.
Fassora might be the most versatile defender in this class. She can play center back or outside back at the next level. She has the foundational skills to be a star in either role. As a center back, she has elite recovery speed and can cover for the other defenders in a back four. Or she could figure as a one of the back three in a back three. As an outside back, she is good on the ball and can get forward in possession. She is also a shutdown defender in 1v1 duels against wingers. Fassora is going to be an early starter at the next level – it’s just a matter of wherever the coach needs a consistent everyday player.
Fisher is one of the best midfielders in the country in this class and her play for Tennessee SC has more than shown that during the 2022/2023 ECNL season. She is a do-everything midfielder who could be a No. 6 or a No. 8 at the next level. Her technical ability on the ball in tight spaces suggest that her ideal fit might be as a No. 8. She offers quality in the final third and the engine to make the full-field runs to get there. She has a right foot that could score from anywhere within 35 yards (and she does look for the opportunity when it’s on). Athletically, Fisher is among the best in this class. She could improve on her decision-making – but there is more than enough on tape to suggest Fisher will be a star at the next level.
Fieker was a standout from the ECNL National Selection Game in Houston. She is another center midfielder. I believe she is a No. 6 at the next level. She is a smart player especially in her tactical understanding of the game. She has the physical attributes to be an immediate contributor for a Division I program. She backs up the numbers on paper with an outrageously impressive game film. She dominates ECNL games regularly. Regularly winning 50/50 duels, Fieker is the type of player that dictates the flow of the game.
