Lonergan is one of the best center backs in the country in this class. He’s had an outstanding season in MLS Next. He could play at either center back position – he is right-footed though so right center back is likely his future. He has a strong leg and hits his passes accurately with pace. His vision stands out from game film as he does well in finding his targets. He is tough in the tackle and uses his body well in duels. Lonergan has a bright future in the sport.
Burdett is a defensive midfielder with versatility. Burdett has been one of the standouts at Baltimore Armour this season. He can play as a No. 6 or a No. 8 at the next level. He is right-footed. His defensive qualities really jump off the screen from game film. He is an excellent tackler with the quality to pull off a slide tackle in the open field. He is a determined competitior who doesn’t quit on the play. In possession, he is eager to attack space on the dribble as he had a special run through the center against the Sounders academy earlier this season. Burdett’s put together a terrific campaign and one that should have him on the radar for scouts everywhere.
Highlights
Satriano is a box-to-box midfielder for the Baltimore Armour U17 MLS Next team. He is one of the best passers in the national league. He is gifted in how he can pick a variety of ways to slice apart the defense with his passion (chips, backspin, driven on the ground, etc.). He has a good first touch and keeps close control of the ball. There are times when it seems like he could have better awareness with checking his shoulders before receiving the ball, which will help him at the next level when there is no time on the ball without pressure.
Logan is a winger for the Alexandria Soccer Association MLS Next squad. He is a determined scorer who will go full-send for any opportunity to bury the ball into the net. He has been on fire in MLS Next games recently. The timing of his runs and his ability to win the battle against the outside back have really stood out against his peers. He has the potential to be a difference-maker at the next level due to his pace and soccer smarts.
