The Georgia 2025 class includes a number of national standouts and a number of teams that found success at the national level last month.
Hill had an outstanding sophomore season that saw her accumulate a number of awards including All-State honors. She is a forward with pace being the standout part of her game. She is a dangerous attacking player because she is unrelenting in her approach. She scores goals by the bunches so there is no chance for the defense to take a moment off when marking her. A good finisher with either foot, Hill made her mark on the Georgia high school scene last season and will be going for more this upcoming year.
Ward was one of the standouts from the ECNL playoffs. She is a dynamic winger who can influence the game in a variety of ways. She has the pace to get in behind the defense and whip in a cross. She also has the skill on the ball to play in a linking role off the center forward or the attacking midfielder. She is a triple-threat in that she also has a lethal shot and can unleash an unstoppable effort from anywhere inside of 30 yards. Ward is already in our rankings, but she is one to keep an eye on as she climbs the rankings this upcoming season.
Economopoulos is another attacking talent from GA’s 2025 class on the rise in the past year. She is a prolific scorer. As either a forward or an attacking midfielder, Economopoulos is a player who can operate through the center channel. She is gifted with excellent ball-striking technique and regularly scores long-range goals with her right foot because she possesses the power and accuracy to punish the defense when they back off of her. She had a standout campaign at the Girls Academy level, which earned her an invite to the Southeast Talent ID event. The forward should have her eyes set on a national invite next season.
Highlights
Cook is a defender who had a standout campaign in the Girls Academy that earned her a spot on the Talent ID roster for the Southeast region. She is a left back. Strong in the tackle and smart in the counterattack, Cook offers the qualities that coaches look for from an outside back. She uses her body well in the tackle. She could improve on her off ball defending in terms of positioning and anticipation, but the framework is there for a outside back at the next level. Considering she is comfortable on either foot, the appeal of versatile defender is also a strong point of her game.
Kluth had an outstanding performance in San Diego for her ECNL side. She is a complete midfielder. A great passer, Kluth added the element of the key pass for her side as she had a number of line breaking passes that setup chances for her teammates. Off the ball, she covered a ton of ground. From making runs off the ball to open up the field for her chances or get on the end of a cross, Kluth was everywhere. Defensively, she tracked runners and never gave up an easy chance. She was good in the tackle against some top competition. Kluth has all of the tools to be an impactful midfielder at the Division I level.
