Foursome from Georgia specialize in preventing goals

Over the next two days, nine players from Georgia will be discussed, starting with the four below. A junior, two sophomore and a freshman are featured here, and what these four specialize in is preventing goals. With two keepers and two defenders, these four players specialize in shutting down the attack.   [player_tooltip player_id='136946' first='Emory' last='Kennett'], Keeper, Lakeside, Class of 2026   Kennett is a quick-reacting keeper who plays with bravery and plays without fear. She is a good shot stopper who comes off her line very quickly. A reliable player, Kennett is very composed, is determined and plays the position very strategically. Kennett puts in the work because she absolutely loves the game. She is completely committed to it. She is an athletic keeper, a leader on the pitch and someone who is always willing to learn from her mistakes. Kennett attends Lakeside High in Atlanta and is playing club for the AFC Lightning GA team. She also plays for the Georgia ODP team and was invited to the Southern Region ODP ID camp.   [player_tooltip player_id='107131' first='Cydney' last='Pace'], Outside Defender/Midfielder/Forward, Greater Atlanta Christian, Class of 2026   Pace attends Greater Atlanta Christian School, where she is a sophomore, and plays club for the Concorde Fire U16 Platinum ECNL team. She plays outside defender for her club, but at her high school she is a midfielder and a wide attacking player. Pace is a player that is physical, and is long and rangy. She is obviously versatile and plays with a relentless style. A determined player, Pace has a very high soccer IQ. She is very disciplined and vocal, and acts as a leader for any team she is on. She plays club at Concord Fire, playing for the 2008 Platinum ECNL team. As a center back, Ryan is incredibly disciplined. She shows aggressiveness when needed and is very resilient. She is very fast, easily tracking down attacking players. She plays the game with a motivation. Ryan is driven, competitive and passionate about the sport. She is a keeper who is a tremendous leader and incredibly communicative. She plays the position with passion and heart. She has the confidence to make quick decisions and the soccer IQ to know when to come off her line, come get a corner and close down an angle. She has confidence in her ability and that is borne from her hard work as she has become mentally strong. A dedicated player, Stair plays the keeper position with an aggressiveness you like to see.
