Here are five players who deserve the player of the week title:
Stone Work
Stone Work
The junior forward is off to a solid start this season. Work has four goals in five games played so far for the season. Stone Work led St X to a 4-2 district win over Collegiate with three goals. The junior is a strong leader on the field and has stepped up big time for St X so far this season.
Benit Mulume
Benit Mulume
Mulume has had a strong showing so far this season. The senior midfielder has three goals in four games played. Mulume is quick and is a solid leader in the midfield for Butler
Braxton McCoy
Braxton McCoy
The junior goalkeeper opened up the first two weeks of the season with four shutouts as South Warren has not allowed a goal in any of their games so far this season. McCoy is a player to watch in the 4th region. An anchor in the backline for South Waren.
Diego Sanchez
Diego Sanchez
The senior forward is living up to the hype so far this season with six goals in five games. Sanchez is one to keep an eye on as the season moves along for Henry Clay A very fast player who is crafty and not afraid to take any chances.
Jack Mulvihill
Jack Mulvihill
On the stat sheet, you may not see his name with goals and assists but Jack Mulvihill is a player that should be in the spotlight. A fast and fearless defender that comes up huge for Manual in the backline. Mulvihill is a player to keep on the radar for the rest of the season.
