While many of the programs that were featured in the top 30 rankings have players in the rankings, there are still top players from this class who are uncommitted heading into the start of their final club season.
Check out a scouting report on some of the new names to the national rankings with this update.
The forward for Minnesota Thunder is one of the top players heading to Minnesota from the 2024 class. She is a center forward with good mobility. A willing runner, Estby created a dynamic attack with teammate Isabela Engle this season in the ECNL. Estby was very good in the combination play, she rarely wasted a touch. She is a good fit as a center forward with aggressive wingers who like to cut in. Estby is one to watch this season as she continues to develop and improve her game prior to the next level.
Farmer terrorized ECNL and high school defenses last season. The Penn State recruit emerged as one of the best forwards from Florida. With quick feet, good body control, and confidence on either foot, Farmer is the type of player who could make an immediate impact at the next level.
Cox is a terrific midfielder from the Portland Thorns Academy. She is clever on the ball and likes to play at a quicker pace than most of the youth games, which suggest she should be ready for the speed of play in college. She is good at making quick decisions on the ball. She is skillful and flashy at times, but never reckless with the ball. Cox is another TCU commit who fits that type of player profile, which shows those coaches have a very specific type of player in mind when scouting for the attacking midfield role. She should be able to develop into a standout in that role at the college level.
Maddox impressed scouts at two ECNL events last season including the playoffs. Originally listed as a forward on her club roster, Maddox is playing center back and wearing the captain’s armband for her GSA side. She is a do-everything type of player. The team’s opening kick off routine is give her the ball and get forward. She also launches the ball on throw-ins. She is a part of the Louisville 2024 recruiting class and she should have the opportunity to play there pretty early on.
