With club teams featuring in all of the national leagues, there were plenty of opportunities for scouts to see the best talent from Florida’s 2025 class this summer.
Below is a scouting report on some of the players who stood out from this group.
One of the best defenders from the ECNL national playoffs, Nowicki is one who is on the move up in the national and state rankings. The competitive defender proved her quality against the best forwards in the country. She shutdown a variety of attacking players – from bruising center forwards to quick-burst strikers, Nowicki handled it all.
Highlights
Holden is one of the goalkeepers on a club team that has advanced to the playoffs in each of the past three seasons. And she was the goalkeeper for a state championship high school team. There is something to be said about a goalkeeper who is always leading her team to winning seasons. Holden has plenty of attributes on her. She is good at organizing the defense, securing the ball in traffic, and reacting quickly on close shots.
Paule was impressive at both the high school and ECNL level last season. She is a prolific scorer at forward. She has the potential to be an immediate contributor at the next level because of her style of play. She is unrelenting presser. Willing to chase down every ball and try to force a mistake from the defense, Paule figures to be a super-sub early on in her college career with the potential to develop into a full-90 type of player. With boundless energy, Paule takes joy in making the defense work hard to contain her at every turn. On the ball, she is a hungry finisher. She’s scored goals in a variety of ways this season. From overhead kicks to toe pokes, Paule is a player who should be getting more attention heading into the next campaign.
Nicholson jumped off the screen in video scouting efforts after the ECNL playoffs. A commanding presence for her Tampa Bay United 06 team, Nicholson is the ideal box-to-box midfielder for the college game. Incredibly nimble with her footwork, Nicholson has the skills to be a creative playmaker in the final third. She is excellent at getting on the end of weak clearances – first to react to the ball, good first touch, she has the tools to dictate where the game is played. Nicholson also offers a long throw-in.
Sidorsky is an outside back. She is plays on the left side, but she is right footed. She is quick, competitive, and unrelenting. She is pretty good in the slide tackle and not afraid to go to ground when the opportunity is there to dispossess or to block a shot. Sidorsky has the potential to develop into a shutdown outside back.
Highlights
The Clearwater Chargers defender was outstanding for her side during the national postseason events. She plays almost like a sweeper for her side, which puts a lot of pressure on her as the last option for her side’s defense. The coaches trust her completely. She does well in recognizing when to step up and when to drop off in support. She covers a ton of ground in the game to get to the right spots. She is tough in the tackle too when she needs to step up into that role. Muniz is comfortable on the ball and makes good decisions on the ball. The center back has the quality to be an early starter at the college level.
The left winger from Clearwater Chargers is one to watch from the state in this class. She also had a stellar campaign for her high school with 13 goals and 8 assists in 14 games. At the club level, she showed her game goes beyond the numbers. A strong 1v1 defender, Krazsewski impacted play with her two-way play. She hits a good cross with her left foot. With good pace and skill, she has potential to be an impactful player at the next level.
The winger from Treasure Coast United 05 is perhaps one of the top under-the-radar gems from the 2025 class in the state. Lane is getting some experience playing with Palm City Americanas in the USLW this summer. The high school junior is even earning some starts for that team. Lane is a runner on the wing. She has a long stride and her track speed translates to the field. She is a good finisher with either foot. Lane is a player that scouts will quickly take notice of as they spend more time with the 2025 class.
Ramirez was a standout for club and high school last season. The goalkeeper is an athletic shot-stopper. She is excellent off the line. Closes off angles, stays big the whole time, and has the quick reflexes to make a late block on an effort, Ramirez has it all to be great in that role.
