All of them are athletic and technical and can impact a game.
Olivia Blackadar, Forward/Midfielder, Newmarket, Class of 2025
Blackadar is a junior from New Hampshire, who goes to high school at Newmarket and plays club with Seacoast United, playing on the 2007 GA team. She is a striker who can also play in the midfield. Blackadar is known for keeping things simple, but being effective. She is very creative and very technical. She works hard and leads by example. She is very competitive, and because she wants to beat defenders as much as she does, can be unpredictable in her methods. She’s strong and hard to knock off the ball as well. Coaches find Blackadar to be very coachable.
Sadie Shapiro Sadie Shapiro F Scotch Plains-Fanwood | 2026 State NJ , Forward, Scotch-Plains Fanwood, Class of 2026
Shapiro is out of New Jersey, playing her club for the Bergen-based Cedar Starts Academy, playing for the 2008 GA team. She attends high school at Scotch-Plains Fanwood where she is a forward. Shapiro is a speedy forward, a tenacious attacker and a pure goal scorer. She is very pesky, very quick and is generally a clutch player when her team needs it. In addition, she is a hard-working, coachable player.
Cassis Yappen, Attacking Midfielder, Lenape Valley, Class of 2024
Yappen is out of Sparta, NJ and is a senior at Lenape Valley High. She plays her club with Player Development Academy Sporting Club Premier, playing for the 2006 ECRL team. Yappen plays with a lot of drive and intensity. She strives to contribute on both ends of the ball. She can push the ball forward, take on defenders and play a clever ball, or she can track back from her No. 10 spot and win a 50-50 ball or make a challenge.
