Georgia’s Top 2027 Midfielders
Kincaid is a midfielder on the Concorde Fire Platinum 09 ECNL team. She can play any spot in the midfielder, but attacking midfield (No. 10) is her ideal role. Kincaid might be the most under appreciated player in this class. She has earned call-ups to the US Youth National Team Talent ID events in the past. She is playing better than that level this season in ECNL. Kincaid is one of those players who glides on the field. She is a fluid athlete who always looks like she is fully in control of her movement and the ball. The midfielder is excellent at using body fakes to put defenders off balance and then exploding with a quick first step to create space. She has a lethal right foot and can bury a shot from inside of 30 yards. Kincaid is an artist with a chisel, but she brings the hammer out at times with crunching tackles. Right now, she is one of the best midfielders in Georgia. The potential is there for her to be one of the best in the country.
Mendez is a midfielder on the Atlanta Fire 09 ECNL team. She plays as the defensive midfielder. She is one of three players from that team to get called into the US Soccer Talent ID event last year. Mendez is a smart soccer player and has been a bright spot of the Fire midfield. She is a confident player who is good on the ball. She can put in a tackle when the ball is near. Mendez really shines when her team is playing quick combination soccer. The way she passes and moves is pretty advanced for this age group, which makes her one of the top midfielders in this class.
Jacquin is a midfielder for the UFA 08 ECNL team. She is a box-to-box or attacking midfielder. She is a skillful dribbler who likes to take on players on the dribble. She is clever in her movement and can navigate out of tight spaces. She might be a bit cavalier on the ball and try to do too much at times, but the 2027 has plenty of time to learn to be more selective in those moments. The initiative that she shows now forces defenders to be honest against her and it opens up space for teammates.
Victor is a midfielder for the Concorde Fire Platinum 08 ECNL team. I’ve seen her play as a defensive midfielder. I believe she previously played for the Tophat 08 GA Navy team and moved over to Concorde Fire recently. She is an excellent defender for the position. She reads body language well. It shows up in game film with how many passes she blocks with her anticipation. Victor is a defensive midfielder that lets the playmakers around her shine. She gets the ball out of her feet quickly. With how good she is defensively, I could also see her playing as a center back in the future. The soccer smarts make me believe she will be a prized recruit in the future.
Suppes is a midfielder on the Atlanta Fire 08 ECNL team. She has been part of the US Soccer Talent ID center events in the past. We highlighted her play last season as a player to watch from this class in the 08 age group. Suppes played as an attacking midfielder for Atlanta Fire during ECNL play this season. She’s typically lining up as a catalyst in the attack but it’s worth noting she has a well-rounded game. She’s a solid defender. A fearless, hard-worker at the position who won’t quit on the play, she has the quick feet for toe pokes. Suppes could improve on her athletic stance going into duels to give her better balance coming out of tackles to get away cleanly with the ball. With the ball at her feet, her vision and passing immediately stand out from game film. She makes slip passes that not many players in this class can see or even attempt. Suppes has big time potential as a playmaker.
