They are an organized team in their formation and can switch positions in the flow of play. The back line for Racing Louisville displayed they are in unison with each other. All actions the back line made were together as a unit. Collectively, the team did a great job staying compact without the ball. Once Racing Louisville won the ball they used the whole field. Racing Louisville showcased they can control the ball to get numbers forward to create a more effective attack. Overall, Racing Louisville Academy showed a high level of understanding to their formation and ability to create thought out attacking moments.

shows she can play a true nine for her team. She does very well with turning a defender to get a shot off in and around the box. Layfield uses her body well to control the ball with pressure from defenders with composure. She has the ability to be crafty is small spaces when taking players on and shows attacking mindset. Layfield can pass well and is comfortable with one touch passes often throughout a game. She does very well with her positioning as a striker defensively to cut passes. Also, Layfield was positioned well in possession. She was never drifting into other’s space and showed trust in her teammates to do their jobs. Highlights

Abigayle Hammons displays quickly she understands her job as a winger. She showed her speed and ability to take players on early. Hammons likes to stay wide and work off her striker. She shows she can complete passes and is willing to take chances to go forward. Although defensively some passes got by her, she displays she is hard working to get the ball back. She showcased she will push the tempo with her speed if she sees space in front of her. But can also be composed with the ball and create a better attack with the team if she is outnumbered in the finial third. Overall, Hammons is a hard working and fast winger that can be brave on and off the ball.

Emme Sanchez
Emme Sanchez did very well as a holding midfielder for Louisville. She can keep the ball and help the team switch the field. Sanchez also shows she will check her shoulder before receiving a pass and be crafty to get out of situations. Strong into tackles and helped Racing Louisville stop some critical attacks to keep her team in the game. She takes corner kicks well. Although she had a few mistakes, overall she performed very well.
