Bryana Molina
Bryana Molina
Molina displayed good quality playing as a right-side center back for HTX. She won several duels during the match, using her size to clear crosses inside the penalty box and her pace to make interceptions and cover her teammates. The defender played a solid match from start to finish and wasn’t to blame for any of Lou Fusz’s goals. In the final part of the second half, when HTX was pushing forward looking for an equalizer, she also displayed an interesting offensive game, making some runs through the middle and connecting good passes out of the back.
Harper Montgomery
Harper Montgomery
Montgomery had good success in her offensive attempts on the left side of HTX’s attack, especially when she combined with her twin sister Hallie, who played left back for the team. Very quick and active, she was very dangerous in 1v1 situations and managed to take the ball to the end line on several occasions. Montgomery was directly involved in both goals, creating the chance that allowed Alexis Baker to score the first one and blocking the clearance of a Lou Fusz defender in the second, in a play that rewarded her effort throughout the match.
Alexis Baker
Alexis Baker
HTX’s striker had a solid match, getting involved in most of the team’s offensive plays and scoring their first goal. A lefty, Baker has great quality on the ball and has the ability to help the team in different ways. She was well-positioned in her goal, scoring with an easy tap-in, but also displayed great ability to operate outside the penalty box. Baker uses her body well to shield the ball and progress with it and was very useful in dropping back to make combination passes and find dangerous passes in the final third.
Ella Miller
Ella Miller
Miller formed a strong center back duo with Lucy Savala Lucy Savala 5’3″ | M Webster Groves Hish School | 2027 State MO and the two were very important to Lou Fusz as they attempted to contain HTX’s early pressure in the first minutes of the match. Miller used her height to dominate in the air, but also displayed great positioning and reading of the game, reacting quickly to cover her teammates on multiple occasions. She almost scored the game-winning goal with a header in the final minutes and remained consistent during the entire match.
Alysse Williams
Alysse Williams
A pacey and skilled winger, Williams took advantage of the space vacated on the left side of HTX’s backline to create dangerous chances for her team. She circulated everywhere on Lou Fusz’s attacking line, but spent more time on the right, where she caused problems with her pace and her ability to dribble the ball forward. Besides very physical, Williams also displayed to be extremely direct when in possession, taking the ball towards the goal in the quickest and simplest way she could.

With her two goals and excellent movement with and without the ball, Brawner was easily the most impactful player on the field. She displayed a very complete game up top, getting the ball behind the backline and also dropping back to combine and make plays. Brawner occupied HTX’s center backs during the entire match with her movement and always found good spots to get on the ball. The striker displayed great calm in front of the goal to dribble the keeper before scoring her first goal and a lot of confidence and great decision-making to score the second in a difficult play.
