Capistrano Valley takes over the top spot in the rankings, moving just ahead of No. 2 Archbishop Mitty after the Monarchs drew with rival and fellow top 10 team St. Francis. Leigh, unbeaten and untied, stays at No. 3, with Santiago-Corona at No. 4 and Santa Margarita up to No. 5. Millikan, Liberty-Bakersfield, Oaks Christian and Patrick Henry join St. Francis in the top ten.
Berkeley makes a big jump, back near the top ten, checking in at No. 11, followed by Davis. Three new teams round out the top 15 with Roosevelt-Eastvale, Amador Valley and Quartz Hill coming into the rankings. St. Ignatius debuts, coming in at No. 18 surrounded by Inderkum, Mira Costa, Rosary Academy and Monte Vista on either side.
St. Francis-Sacramento is new to the rankings and is at No. 21 with Hart and Chaminade coming in for the first time as well in the last two spots. Temecula Valley is back in at No. 22 and San Ramon Valley drops to No. 23.
