ECNL Tennessee Showcase: NC Courage G07 vs Match Fit Academy G07

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>The ECNL National Event in Tennessee wrapped up in December. The PrepSoccer scout on hand filed detailed game reports from some of the matches from the event. Check out the standouts from the NC Courage - Match Fit Academy game. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This match had a slower start but both teams settled in. NC Courage showed early they were comfortable keeping the ball in the back line and playing through Match Fit Academy. The forwards did a good job cutting passes and forcing errors off the ball. Match Fit had some problems getting out of their defensive third. Once they did, Match Fit was able to create good opportunities. The game changed when NC Courage's Madyson Brown played a great through ball after checking down into the half. Olivia Best was patient and played an excellent ball across the box to [player_tooltip player_id='141340' first='Leah' last='Kuklick'] to finish making it 1-0. Ten minutes later, Match Fit Academy was able to force an error near the box. Abigail Incorvaia was able to make it 1-1 from a well low shot to the corner.
