ECNL Tennessee Showcase: NVA G08 Vs FC Prime G08

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>The ECNL event in Tennessee wrapped up last month. The PrepSoccer scout on hand attended a number of games. Below is the scouting report from the game between FC Prime and NVA at the event. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From the beginning of the match, NVA did a great job of keeping the ball in their defensive half. Their midfielders showed confidence in helping the back line keep the ball and constantly showed to be an option. FC Prime started out defending mostly and rushing in the attack which prevented them from capitalizing early in the game. Midway through the match, FC Prime started to build attacks and grew in confidence. They continued to play well defensively throughout the match. Unfortunately, FC Prime wasn't able to really test the keeper until the last 10 minutes of the match. Overall, NVA showcased they can play as a complete unit. They all know the formation well and what is expected. FC Prime managed well defensively against the many attacks NVA managed to create. She showed she is quick and crafty. Eva-Buckner doesn't shy away from taking players on and was able to create chances for NVA throughout the game. She displays that she is a hard working player that doesn't let up. Eva-Buckner showed she is smart in her runs and ability to create space for herself. The moment NVA wins the ball back, she is ready to attack. Ernest displayed she is a hardworking striker with many qualities. She is quick, checks her shoulder often off the ball and is a threat in the box. She will check down into spaces to be an option and can also beat defenders with her pace for a through ball. Ernest also shows she can cut passes well and add pressure to a back line to force errors. She came into the game and immediately made an impact. Measel was able to challenge the keeper from distance and in the box. She dribbles well and showed great weight to her passes when breaking lines to her forwards. Measel also reads the game and cuts passes well. She did a great job tracking her mark and was able to show her ability in being a box to box player. She played as a center back late in the match. She tracks players well and make a difference the moment she entered the game. Harriett connects great short and long passes in the back line and to the midfielders. She can read the game well and gave attackers no time to on the ball.
