From the beginning of the match, both teams showed they wanted to break lines quick and could combine to go forward. In the first 20 minutes, both teams had chances but Indy eleven had more opportunities. Indy eleven did a great job throughout the match catching UFA’s forwards offsides. That made it more difficult for UFA to play their style. Even with the challenge, UFA was able to earn a free kick just outside the box. Paisley Cathey took the free kick and placed it well to put UFA up 1-0. Indy was quick to put pressure on UFA after the goal. Grace Stair did well when tested by Indy eleven’s attackers. The game still had some back & forth but Indy controlled the tempo. Overall, Indy eleven played a better style after 20 minutes and were able to build attacks more often. But UFA secured the 1-0 win over Indy Eleven.
Grace Stair plays as a goal keeper for UFA G07. Stair showed she has great footwork and technique. She showed she is brave and willing to come out to make a save. Stair was very comfortable and accurate passing short and long. She had some big saves in this game to keep UFA up in this match. Overall, Grace Stair had a good performance in goal during this match and showed she is a confident goal keeper.
Emma Johnson Emma Johnson M #15 Nation IN plays as a midfielder for Indy Eleven Pro Academy. Johnson showcased that she is quick, reads the game well and connects passes consistently. She has a good touch and has a willingness to make any pass played to her work for the team. Johnson displayed some foot skills while she had the ball which was effective. Overall, Emma Johnson Emma Johnson M #15 Nation IN shows she is a solid midfielder who is quick, consistent and connects well with her team.
