Santiago-Corona takes over the top spot in the state after previous No. 1 Archbishop Mitty was beaten by St. Francis-Mountain View. The Lancers move up to No. 3 and sandwiched between them and Santiago is Millikan. Quartz Hill is No. 4 and Capistrano Valley is No. 5 as the Southern Section takes four of the top five spots.
Mitty drops to No. 6 with Liberty-Bakersfield moving up to No. 7, Inderkum moving to No. 8, Roosevelt-Eastvale to No. 9 and Leigh rounding out the top ten. Hart is now up to No. 11, with Santa Margarita dropping a few spots to No. 12, one spot head of No. 13 Oaks Christian. Both teams made the CIF Southern Section’s Open Division playoff bracket. Etiwanda is No. 14 and Garces Memorial rounds out the top 15.
Clovis North moves up to No. 16 while newcomer Amador Valley is at No. 17. Mira Costa takes the 18th spot followed by Monte Vista and Colfax. Carondelet is back in the rankings after a win over San Ramon Valley, checking in at No. 21 with St. Francis-Sacramento one spot behind them. Huntington Beach and Esparanza are two more Southern Section teams in the rankings with Bullard makings its debut at No. 25.
