Alexis Cervantes, Central Valley, Class of 2024
Cervantes is a fast, physical striker who is good at running and receiving the ball behind the line as well as playing with his back to goal. He is physical and uses that physicality, as he can overpower center backs and get himself onto goal. He has a strong leg and is able to score easily from 30 yards and in.
Dominic Guzman, Oak Ridge, Class of 2025
Guzman missed most of Oak Ridge’s season with a broken foot but came back against Whitney late in the season and showed why he is one of the top junior forwards and top goal-scoring threats around. He has a powerful frame and plays with great pace. Guzman can go at defenders and can win most opportunities in the box. He can score with both feet and with his head, and does well to create the space he needs to get behind a back line.
Gage Harrison, Whitney, Class of 2025
Harrison is a left-footed wide player who is an explosive athlete. He head a breakout summer and fall with his club as many colleges took notice. Harrison is at his best when he’s taking on defenders, using great pace to bet to the byline and then finding a teammate in the box, or whipping in the early cross when he can.
Giovanni Perez, East Union, Class of 2024
Perez is a do-it-all attacking player out of East Union in Manteca. Can play the No. 10 as well as being a striker and has jaw-dropping stats. He scored 43 goals and had 16 assists as a junior and followed it up with 31 goals and five assists this season. He is a true goal scorer, and has done so much to carry his team with his ability to create scoring chances. He does not need much space, and can make something out of nothing.
Diego Perez, Jesuit, Class of 2024
Perez is the second leading scorer on an excellent Jesuit team. He is an athletic forward who crashes the box extremely hard, going looking for goals. He is very good at reading space and finding pockets to exploit. He receives the ball well, and is able to finish at a high success rate. He has a true nose for goal.
Talan Rochelle, Granite Bay, Class of 2024
Rochelle is a very quick outside forward who can also move inside to play the No. 9 or the No. 10. He finishes well with both feet and shows an advanced understanding of spacing, making runs off the ball better than most in his age group. He’s also a great free-kick taker from 35 yards and in. He shows a maturity to his game which is one of the reasons he is heading to play at Gonzaga.
Very quick winger who can also swing inside to play as a 9 or 10. Finishes well with both feet and understands spacing and runs off the ball better than others his own age. A true maturity to his game. Also deadly on free-kicks from 35 yards in. Gonzaga
Artem Vovk Artem Vovk F Foothill | 2024 CA , Foothill, Class of 2024
Vovk is an exceptional player and there is a reason he is committed to UCLA. He is one of the top goal-scoring players in the state and truly has a nose for goal, be it in club or high school. He’s good for a goal a game. He is big, he is strong and is a fast, explosive athlete who is good with both feet.
Cody Wagner Cody Wagner M Whitney | 2025 State CA , Whitney, Class of 2025
Wagner is so versatile and so dynamic. He can play any forward position, but can also play as a No. 10. He is a left-footed attacking player who is strong and fast. In addition, he is an explosive athlete that can easily take players off the dribble and can score with both feet. He came back from a broken foot suffered in club season, working his way back slowly but recently re-aggravated and has been shut down so he can fully heal.
