These players here are very special talents and worth of all their honors.
KEEPER: Caroline Dysart Caroline Dysart null | GK Canyon Crest Academy (CA) | 2024 #54 Nation CA is a standout keeper and was excellent for Canyon Crest Academy. The senior is heading to Duke after an outstanding varsity career with the Ravens.
DEFENDERS: Two defenders make the list, both committed to play after high school, as Annie DeHaan Annie DeHaan D La Costa Canyon (CA) | 2024 State #35 Nation CA , a very important player for La Costa Canyon’s defense and is committed to Virginia Tech. She joins Temecula Valley’s Juliet Thrapp who is committed to play at Point Loma Nazarene. DeHaan is a senior and Thrapp is a junior.
MIDFIELDERS: Two midfielders on this list are college commits as Southwestern League MVP Annika Jost Annika Jost M Temecula Valley (CA) | 2024 CA , a senior from Temecula Valley, is heading to the Air Force Academy after a season that saw her total 11 goals and 11 assists. Hannah Eftekhari Hannah Eftekhari M CA of La Jolla Country Day, a junior, had 42 goals and will be playing at Harvard. Kaitlyn Arciaga Kaitlyn Arciaga M Westview | 2025 State CA was a key player for Westview down the stretch and the junior came up big to help her team win the Division II SoCal title. Briahna Gieger had a very nice season for Patrick Henry, finishing with 14 goals and 14 assists. Sofia Nunez Sofia Nunez M Bonita Vista | 2026 CA , just a sophomore for Bonita Vista, is one of the most talented players in the area, had 13 goals and 10 assists.
FORWARDS: Mia Lane Mia Lane M CA is the only senior of the three forwards as she is heading to San Diego State after scoring 32 goals this season for Eastlake. Junior Cassidy Drago Cassidy Drago null | F Temecula Valley | 2025 State #155 Nation CA of Temecula Valley had 14 goals and nine assists and is already committed to BYU, and another junior in Amanda Anders Amanda Anders F State CA from Mission Hills, who is committed to TCU, as she scored 31 goals this past season.
