KEEPER: Alan Quintero had a great senior season, highlighted by penalty stops that helped Archbishop Mitty win the NorCal regional Division I title as he came up huge against Clovis North and St. Francis-Mountain View in penalties. After being selected as the keeper of the year in the incredibly competitive West Catholic Athletic League this season, it marks the second season in a row for the senior to have received this honor.
DEFENDERS: Hank Lane of Burlingame is the only senior of the three defenders. He helped the Panthers to a NorCal DII title and was regarded as the heartbeat of the team. Callum Todd Callum Todd 5'10" | D Saint Francis | 2026 CA , just a sophomore from St. Francis, was selected as the defender of the year in the WCAL, and the same can be said about Valen Spade Valen Spade D CA of Mountain View as the sophomore was selected as the defensive player of the year in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League.
MIDFIELDERS: Minato Nishida Minato Nishida D CA was the important cog for Leigh in the midfield as he showed plenty of creative and technical ability. He was selected as the senior of the year in the Blossom Valley Athletic League. Manuel Portillo Manuel Portillo F #155 Nation CA joins this group as he was midfielder of the year in the WCAL and if the league did an MVP, it probably would have been him. He had 22 goals and 21 assists for the Monarchs. Lukas Ramans Lukas Ramans 6'1" | M Saint Francis | 2026 State CA , just a sophomore from St. Francis, joins the list as he will likely be the best midfielder in the league next season. Sola Nishimura of Mountain View has been a standout for Spartans for the last two seasons, playing an important role in their success and was first-team All-SCVAL. Nate Coughlin Nate Coughlin F Junipero Serra | 2025 CA , a junior from Serra, had 17 goals and 17 assists this year and was first team All-WCAL.
FORWARDS: With 24 goals this season, you can see why senior David Hernanez-Escobar was chosen as the forward of the year in the WCAL as he is one of two forwards on this team. He is joined by Jose Vasquez who was the MVP of the Gabilan League. The Alisal forward scored 11 goals in league play.
