She is a key player on her team - both with her quality on the ball and with her tactical approach. Miller likes to control the pace of the game and will put her foot on the ball to slow down play when she thinks it's the right choice to make. She could improve on her strength as she was bumped off the ball once or twice in a recent game. Miller is an excellent passer and plays with her head up. She can contribute key passes during the game, but she tends to play the pass that will allow her team to retain possession. She shined against the top competition in recent National Events. When she is near the ball, she can put in a tackle and shut down the movement of the opposition. On the ball, she is quick to make decisions and gets the ball moving to her teammates with accurate passes. She is physical and uses her body well to shield players off the ball - especially in situations where it is a 50/50 ball in the midfield or a bouncing ball that no one has control over yet. Brandon can get caught on her heels at times. When she's on the ball, she's very good. I'd love to see her be more demonstrative in demanding the ball from her teammates and getting more touches early on to set the tone in the game. She reads the game well and seems to always be in the right spots. Rodriguez is a fluid athlete and had a couple of audacious attempts at getting on the end of crosses from recent ECNL games. She can play as a box-to-box midfielder or as an attacking midfielder.
