It is a talented group that is very versatile and dynamic.
Atticus English Atticus English D CA , Forward, Defender, San Francisco Elite SC
English is a 2007 ECNL player for San Francisco Elite SC. He plays high school at Lick-Wilmerding where he played forward, but for his club has mostly played defender. He’s versatile, as he can play as a lock down defender, who can also push up, or as a dynamic attacker. He is a great athlete, which allows him to be able to play multiple positions, but he also has the intelligence to go with it. He has a high soccer IQ and reads the game really well.
Enrique Guzman, Forward, Marin FC
Guzman played at Marin Catholic (just across the Golden Gate Bridge) during the high school season and is a dynamic forward for Marin FC’s Blue ECNL team. Guzman is a scorer that understands space. He fills the right space regularly and he makes runs into these pockets that allow him to be in the best position to score goals. He can create on his own as well as he is quite good at taking on defenders and showing off his technical ability.
River Jones River Jones F CA , Central Midfielder, Marin FC
Jones featured as a center mid for Marin Academy for the high school season and plays for the Marin FC 2006 Blue ECNL team where can play as a No. 6, No. 8 and No. 10. As a defensive mid, he reads the game really well and knows when to step and when to play the man. He’s also very calm on the ball. As a No. 8, he’s really hard to knock off the ball as he is strong and athletic, keeping his balance and rarely losing his head of steam. As an attacking midfielder, he creates well and takes on defenders with ease.
Watts Richmond, Midfielder, Marin FC
Richmond attends University High and plays for the 2006 Blue ECNL team at Marin FC. He is a very important central midfielder as he is the player that facilitates and leads when on the pitch. He’s very poised when on the ball and remains calm in all situations. His decision making is excellent and he is a great leader to have on the team.
Julian Tototzintle, Defender, San Francisco Elite SC
Tototzinle is another 2007 ECNL player for SF Elite SC, playing at Archbishop Riordan during the high school season. Another versatile defender for his club that can play anywhere on the pitch. He’s very technical as he has ability with both feet and he has great speed and agility as well. He likes to get forward and show off his excellent shot as he has the foot skills of an attacking player.
