Sean Chamberlain, Attacking Midfielder
The first thing a scout will notice about Chamberlain is his size. He’s a tall, physical presence at the No. 10 spot. Once he gets going downhill in the attacking third, he’s really hard to stop and has a wicked shot from outside the box. He’s also a fantastic passer because he sees the field and enjoys distributing. He’s incredibly fit and has excellent work ethic, so he never stops and will work hard for a full 90 minutes. His strength allows him to hold off defenders while controlling the ball and turning with it. He’s getting stronger and stronger, becoming a great leader and because he works so hard he’s focusing on his quickness in tight spaces, his lateral movement and his acceleration.
Monty Cooke, Forward
Cooke is a player who shows good instincts at the forward position. He moves off the ball well, times his runs excellently and makes life generally difficult on defenders. He has good speed, good instincts and is very physical to go with very solid technical abilities and goal-scoring prowess.
Dylan Maldonado, Forward
Maldonado is an excellent young forward with creativity and flare in spades. He’s incredibly shifty and quick and is hard for defenders to mark. He moves quickly, whether on the ball or off the ball and loves to score goals. He’s got great technical skills, handles the ball well and really likes to drive at defenders.
Jonah Sher, Outside Defender
Sher is the younger brother of Jaden Sher, who was the captain of the Branson High team and Jonah has learned a lot from him. He is very brave and very physical, not backing down whether he is defending in a 1v1 situation, or pushing up the touch line and taking on defenders. He moves fluidly, has deceptive quickness and is creative.
Matyas Stanek, Forward
Stanek is a very hard-working forward who plays the game with passion and dedication. He’s a competitive player, who shows great desire to improve. He also is very fundamental and clinical in front of goal, displaying great finishing qualities. He can create for himself, or draw defenders and distribute to open spaces in order to create opportunities.
