These players from Arizona play high level soccers for elite clubs and are difference makers at their schools as well. They have a very high floor because of their consistency and they have a ceiling that is unlimited because of how much ability they have. These players are a lot of fun to see play.

[player_tooltip player_id='18672' first='Alivia' last='Gowdy'], Outside Defender, AZ Arsenal SC, Class of 2025

Gowdy's club, AZ Arsenal SC, and her school, Red Mountain High, have to be thrilled to have an outside back as talented as Gowdy. She is speed, physicality and ability wrapped into one package. Just because she has technical skills and foot skills does not mean she will not body an attacker up. She is incredibly physical and you will know when she has dispossessed you. She recovers defensively well, and she covers a lot of ground. Going the other way, she is incredibly skilled. She can carry the ball up the pitch with an ease because it is so natural. She gets past defenders on the outside, can cut in on her opposite foot and can either send an accurate ball in or continue on into space. She's committed to Grand Canyon University and she is a really fun player to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='164732' first='Tatum' last='Gowdy'], Keeper, AZ Arsenal SC, Class of 2027

Gowdy is an excellent athlete with lightning quick reaction speed. Watch her as she is sizing things up in front of her and she reads and anticipates very, very well. She comes off her line quickly, and does so sometimes when you would not expect it, and she disrupts opportunity. She gets low quickly, showing agility and quickness on shots on the floor heading inside the post. She does not simply sit back and let attacking players bring the game to her as she comes out quickly in 1v1's and makes scoring opportunities hard on them. She shows great hands as well, securing the ball most of the time.

[player_tooltip player_id='166192' first='Mallory' last='Walsh'], Keeper, Phoenix Rising FC, Class of 2026

Walsh has a significant range and a great catch radius as well. She can cover post to post well, and she is quite good when she gets her hands on the ball about not letting it spill. She shows athleticism on balls that are curling under the crossbar as she has clearly spent a lot of time working on tipping the ball over. She is fluid in her movements, she is not stiff or robotic, showing athleticism and agility as she moves quickly to put out danger. She shows courage and gumption as well as she is not afraid to come off of her line.

[player_tooltip player_id='112438' first='Sophie' last='Williams'], Forward, Royals FC AZ, Class of 2026

Williams has very good size for a 2008 as she is physically imposing and she is incredibly gifted. She's got very long legs and has very long strides to go with what is incredible top end speed. She also accelerates quickly. Watching her on tape, it was easy to see why she gets behind defenders so easily. She just gets to her top speed more quickly than others do. She's a deft finisher as she can slot a ball home, or play a cheeky ball over the top if the keeper comes out. She's very clever. She's great with the ball at her feet, and is really good as well without the ball as she can body a defender and then turn on a dime to get past them once she receives the ball or gets ready to make a run. She is an exceptional player.
