Her first assist came off a flick backward to an open teammate near the goal off a set piece in the first half. Her next assist was a dime across the box to another player making a run. But before that pass, she used some good ball control to dribble past a defender right outside the 18. Displayed outstanding touch around the ball and wasn't afraid to take an opponent 1v1. Out-dribbling at least five opponents on the left side of the pitch. As a playmaker, she used both feet to get others involved. Made some outstanding crosses into the box which created numerous dangerous opportunities to score. Won almost every 1v1 attempt I saw on her side of the field. Displaying a terrific defensive stance to prevent successful dribbles as well as blocking crosses. She also showed excellent speed while transitioning to defend as she helped disrupt a key 1v1 situation midway thorough the opening half. Her first one was an athletic low-dive save to the bottom left off a corner kick. Almost every time she won the ball, she ignited the counter attack the other way. Either showing great control and pushing the ball up herself or finding a midfielder or attacker on the run. Gorman looked dominant as a left winger vs Eclipse Wednesday afternoon. Out-dribbling the RB on numerous instances which created several scoring chances in the opening half. Sometimes it looked like she was the fastest player out there and made it hard for some players to keep up with her. Her first was a flick backward to an open teammate who headed it home.
