With the high school season just over a month away, seven players from Ohio just wrapped up impressive runs with their clubs. These seven players are very talented, and their talent ranges far and wide. From strikers with hold up play and goal-scoring ability, to lockdown defenders and everything in between, this is a special group.

[player_tooltip player_id='130885' first='Reese' last='Brown'], Striker, Cincinnati United Premier, Class of 2026

Brown attends Beavercreek High in Ohio and plays for Cincinnati United Premier's GA team. She is a very versatile player as she actually can find ways to impact all three levels. She has filled in on defense and midfield, despite being a striker. But, as a striker, she is prodigious. She is great with her back to goal, holding up play and holding off defenders, then suddenly turning quickly and getting off a great strike. She uses her body and physicality to create the space she needs to get a shot off. Brown is working hard on fitness and strength at all times, and is improving her already very good technical ability. She enjoys building chemistry and working with her teammates to create opportunities for everyone. She is narrowing down her college choices and expects to commit next month.

Khloe Cunningham, Attacking Midfielder, Cincinnati United Premier, Class of 2027

Cunningham is a very creative No. 10 who is a rising sophomore at Saint Ursula Academy. The Cincinnati United Premier GA player is very shifty and agile and this lends to her creativity as she is excellent at creating opportunities for her teammates. Cunningham truly loves setting teammates up more than scoring. She plays a beautiful ball and shows the vision and courage to play a ball that most won't. She possesses incredible technical ability, as she is very good, calm and poised on the ball and operates very well in tight areas.

Photo: Walt Middleton

Carson Domingo, Defender, Central Ohio Elite, Class of 2028

Domingo is only going to be a freshman as she enters Gahanna Lincoln High and look for her to make an immediate impact. The Central Ohio Elite defender has an incredible head for the game. She pays attention, she studies, she listens and is always open to all pieces of advice in order to get better. She also works very hard to stay fit, to bounce back and recover. She works hard as a player and has the drive to be the best she can be. She plays without fear and has an intense drive. Domingo is physical and thrives when someone is trying to push her off the ball. She is a great teammate and puts the team first.

[player_tooltip player_id='165360' first='Lauren' last='Hoog'], Central Defender, Ohio Elite, Class of 2026

Hoog is a center back from Saint Ursula Academy and plays at Ohio Elite. She is being recruited heavily because of her attributes as a defender, which include the ability to defend in 1v1 situations, to communicate and direct the defense, and communicate with the midfielders in building that bridge between levels. Where she really excels is in getting into the air and heading the ball. Not only is she good at it, but she loves winning a ball in the air or heading a ball home off a set piece or corner. She is excellent with the ball at her feet, as she can break lines with her ability to pass. She is highly motivated and went straight back to work after her team lost in the Round of 16 at the ECNL National Playoffs, as she has worked to get stronger. With improved strength, and with the speed she possesses, opposing No. 9's and No. 10's are in for a long day against her.

[player_tooltip player_id='173875' first='Levi' last='Mason'], Midfielder, Cincinnati Soccer Club, Class of 2027

The rising sophomore at Goshen High is a wide midfielder, playing on the left. Mason plays club with Cincinnati SC and he is a highly rated and effective player. He impacts the game in many ways, which includes his playmaking ability, ability to push up and to create. Mason is a very fast player and gets up and down the pitch very quickly. He has the ability to put the ball into the net, or draw defenders and distribute. He does not telegraph his passes when he looks to distribute as he reads defenders well, has good field vision and delivers an accurate ball. This includes his ability to send in an accurate cross while moving up the pitch quickly. He acts as a leader and thrives on being a go-to teammate when it comes to rising to a challenge or answering questions.

Kaytlynn Murphy, Midfielder, Sporting Columbus, Class of 2027

Murphy plays for Sporting Columbus on the 2009 ECNL-RL team and attends Bishop Hartley where she will be a sophomore in the fall. A technically sound midfielder, with craftiness, and creativity, she shows the ability to score and create, to distribute, to use her agility and foot skills as well as the physicality she possesses. She likes to battle, she plays hard and shows an intense competitive desire. She shows an advanced understanding of the game as she has years of experience, and this has helped her increase her vision, her capacity for reading the game and enhanced her ability transition quickly from any point on the pitch. If you see her play or watch her highlights you will see that she puts in full effort all the time. Everything she does is to help her team win and her teammates shine.

[player_tooltip player_id='91379' first='Addy' last='Zawaly'], Forward, Ohio Elite, Class of 2027

Zawaly is a versatile forward who can play as a striker or a No. 11 out wide. She can impact the game in a flash because she can score and score quickly. She has great speed and physicality, and pair those with her work rate, she is a dangerous forward and goal scorer. She is also really good about holding up play and distributing to teammates making runs off of her as well. She has an advanced understanding of the game, as she is a student of the game. She is so committed to the game that she is putting in a ton of extra work on her own, and is already seeing improvement. She plays club for Ohio Elite and attends Mariemont High.
