The PrepSoccer class rankings will receive an update soon, but as things stand just before the new season kicks off, Beach FC has five 2026 players ranked/waitlisted. Here is a look at those five players.

Jenna Black, Central Defender

Black was recently featured here recently, but as the 67th ranked player in her class, she earns the right to be featured again. She is a center back who possesses well and is comfortable carrying the ball forward. She also shows the ability to cover for her outside backs, who push up quite a bit. She plays physically and tackles well, and she really loves to make a challenge.

[player_tooltip player_id='19911' first='Mechal' last='Green'], Forward

Green was also featured in the same <a href="http://She has the skills of an outside back in terms of how she receives the ball, how she possesses it and how she moves it. She is ranked 41st by PrepSoccer in her class. A versatile forward who finds a way to leave her mark, she shows the ability to make well-timed runs and uses her speed to outpace defenders. She's comfortable creating for others as she likes to cut in and lay off a nicely placed ball into the box, or she drifts wide and sends in a nice cross. She's a great finisher, she can use either foot, and is calm in a crowd of defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='63990' first='Finlee' last='Mills'], Forward

Check the same link for Mills, who earned some accolades a month ago. She is ranked 24th as we near the beginning of a new ECNL season. This wide forward is a player with the ability to impact the game with her change of pace and change of direction. She opens up play and then uses her skills and vision to be dangerous or to set her teammates up. She's very calm on the ball in the final third.

[player_tooltip player_id='82879' first='Ava' last='Ybarra'], Attacking Midfielder

Ybarra is ranked 61st by PrepSoccer, but with an arrow after seeing her clips on X. She is in control of her body, in control of the ball and in control of her spacing at all times. She plays fast, but never reckless. She uses her body well to shield defenders, lets the ball run and then uses a quick first step to get back on the ball. She can get towards goal quickly and beat defenders, and she can slot a ball home. She also scores from distance. She's a commanding presence in the midfield, receiving the ball well and playing physically.

[player_tooltip player_id='82480' first='Olivia' last='Young'], Attacking Midfielder/Forward

While not technically ranked as of right now, Young is on the rankings waitlist, meaning she is on our list at PrepSoccer and on the cusp. She plays as a No. 10 or can play out wide as a forward. She's quick and creative, and when in the middle of the attack, she lays the ball off and continues her run well. She looks to make an impact offensively as she is wants to get a shot on goal and can do so with one touch, or create space and fire off a shot from range.
