<p>The sun was high during the Texas edition of Prep Soccer's Girls ID Camp series, with temperatures reaching the upper nineties. Despite the weather, these young goalkeepers showed up ready to show out and show out is what they did. With college coaches in attendance and their parents watching anxiously from the touchline, the keepers put on an excellent display of goalkeeping ability and prowess. Diving in on tough challenges, and making agile saves from across the box, these young ladies played with the utmost class and professionalism. Every one of the goalkeepers had very solid performances and deservedly so left the camp with their head's held high. </p>

<p>The following five goalkeepers from the 2025 and 2026 graduating classes stood out as individuals during the highly competitive Texas Girl's ID Camp.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='207298' first='Hailey' last='Koop'] is an exciting goalkeeping prospect from the class of 2026. Koop utilizes great movement both off the ball and during challenges to protect her goal and support her team. Koop is persistent in her defense of the net and doesn't mind getting stuck in if called upon. Koop is lockdown during breakaway situations, and is more than willing to step out and confront attackers. Koop shows no hesitation and disregards her own physical wellbeing to make crucial saves. Koop possesses impressive diving ability and maintains a calm demeanor during high-pressure situations on the pitch. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">At 5'6, [player_tooltip player_id='207298' first='Hailey' last='Koop'] wasn't the tallest goalkeeper at the camp but compensated for her stature with quick reflexes and agility. Koop showed her willingness to get involved and has the strength needed to get behind powerful shots. Koop's command of her box was extremely efficient and overall shows her great shot-stopping abilities. One of Koop's best traits was the persistence she showed and her ability to play with a next play mentality. This showed great leadership and reliability from the back.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lelu Lamb is another great goalkeeping prospect from the class of 2026. Lamb showed out during the camp, showing off her outstanding extension during diving plays across the net. Lamb was consistent with her saves, getting behind the ball and making clean stops even against the most challenging shots. Lamb played with great strength and did well during hard challenges, yet also had the agility needed to get on the play herself and take the ball with her feet. Lamb's passing ability was very solid and showed her overall comfort with the ball. Lamb was a very versatile goalkeeper and had diversity within her game. Another great trait of Lamb's was her communication skills, adding a certain amount of leadership to her style of play and helping her team stay organized from the back. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lamb comes in at 5'8, making her one of the taller players at the game. Lamb utilized her height and frame to cover the goal well. Lamb used her agility to make effective saves and looked confident within her box. Lamb made decisive and athletic saves while in net and showed a lot of promise as a developing goalkeeper. This athleticism is going to surely continue to develop, making her a very exciting prospect between the sticks.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Another great goalkeeper from the class of 2026, [player_tooltip player_id='210609' first='Avery' last='Seitz'] is an outstanding prospect that possesses great lateral movement and extension. Seitz excels at diving and utilizes this ability to make saves all over the box. Seitz's slick lateral movement within the box allows her to quickly change direction and cut off attacking opportunities at both sides of the net. Seitz has a very strong presence within the penalty area and was more than comfortable getting up close and personal with attackers. Seitz had great communication skills and directed her defenders accordingly. Seitz utilized good anticipation in order to position herself wherever she was needed. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">At 5'8, Seitz combined athleticism with a strong physical presence to command her area. Seitz possessed the athleticism needed to react to balls played across the goal or from the byline and get her body in front of the following shots. Seitz played her position with authority and overall had a great showing.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='178858' first='Brooke' last='Lightfoot'] is a physical and commanding goalkeeper from the class of 2025. Playing with great physicality and strong command within the box, Lightfoot was a dominating presence on the pitch. Lightfoot stood out with her strong hands when called to make a save. Getting herself behind the incoming shot and killing it out of the air. Lightfoot showed her ability to cover shooting angles well and was able to position herself where necessary to challenge the attacking players. Lightfoot had fantastic communication skills and showed great leadership from between the sticks. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lightfoot was the tallest goalkeeper at the camp, coming in at 5'9. Lightfoot used her height advantage to make great saves all around the box. Lightfoot also showed her physicality by getting up close and personal with the attackers and putting her body on the line to prevent goals. Lightfoot showed her soccer IQ by holding solid positioning within her box and closing down attackers quickly to prevent their shots from ever getting off.</p>

Hernandez isn't overwhelmingly quick but possesses a high-level of footballing intelligence that allows her to utilize good positioning and agile movement within the box to make saves. Hernandez made an outstanding double-save under heavy attacking pressure from within her six-yard box. Hernandez demonstrated on multiple occasions that she was in no way intimidated by the attacking players in front of her, she played with confidence and poise. When not on the ball, Hernandez fell into passing lanes to give herself as an option for teammates in need of a negative ball. Once on the ball, Hernandez would easily change the point of attack and get the play restarted for her team.</p>

Hernandez reads the game well and is able to make rapid decisions in order to improve her team's defensive effectiveness. Hernandez is a reliable and solid presence in the back.</p>
