We're now halfway through the boys high school season in Illinois. With that being said, here's a midseason all-area team I've generated.

GK Thomas Terry - New Trier Sr

Terry has been sensational in net for the Trevians this season. Only allowing two goals in just nine games with a 0.242 save percentage. Doing a terrific job commanding his area and staying on page with his defense. Great positioning for both crosses and shots.

D TJ Phillips - Glenbrook South Jr

A center back who's made a huge impact on both ends of the field for Glenbrook South. Hs three goals offensively while anchoring a back line that's only conceded eight goals in 13 games.

D Sam Hess - Naperville North Jr

Hess has lived up to expectations this season and has been a big factor in Naperville North's unbeaten start to the season. Helping the huskies achieve nine shutouts in their first 12 contests.

D Ryan Gervase - Naperville Central Jr

Elusive wing-back who's made plays all-over the field this season. High energy prospect with strong technical abilities. Helped keep Naperville Central in it vs Naperville North with stellar defense.

M John O'Carroll - Evanston Sr

Anchoring the midfield for an unbeaten Evanston group. Been one of the most efficient box-to-box midfielders I've seen in a while. Four goals and three assists through the first 12 games.

M [player_tooltip player_id='289031' first='Mason' last='Brooke'] - Wheaton Academy So

He's been arguably the most productive sophomore in Illinois so far and well-deserving of a spot on this list.

M Kamden Williams - Lincoln-Way East Sr

Already talked about Kamden last week. Williams is up to ten goals and six assists in just eleven games for the Griffins.

M Danny Perez - Elgin Jr

Perez has seven goals and four assists this season for an Elgin squad that's currently 7-1-2. Very eusive midfielder with a high IQ. Making his whole team better.

F Joseph Sargent - Evanston Sr

Sargent has been extremely dangerous for Evanston and is more than deserving of a spot on this list. Has so many ways to score and is a threat both inside and out of the box. Currently with 14 goals and four assists for the Wildkits.

F [player_tooltip player_id='54366' first='Jaxon' last='Stokes'] - Naperville North Sr

Extremely good athlete who's score nine goals for Naperville North this season in addition to three assists.

F [player_tooltip player_id='143966' first='Noah' last='Radeke'] (MVP) - Naperville North Sr

I've mentioned Radeke quite a few times this season and rightfully so. The senior forward leads Naperville North with 11 goals and six assists while keeping the Huskies unbeaten.
