Early Season PA Boys High School action

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Tuesday, September 3^rd, two of the top programs in Berks County faced off in an early season clash with the defending county champion Fleetwood Tigers traveling to the county runner-up Conrad Weiser Scouts. This game also featured last season's county player of the year, [player_tooltip player_id='117989' first='Davin' last='Millisock'] of Fleetwood and fellow All-State selection, Gavin Rapp of Conrad Weiser.    </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The game was non-stop action going to back and forth the entire contest. There were multiple lead changes with both Millisock and Rapp exchanging goals early in the second half. Fleetwood held onto a 3-2 lead in the closing minute and looked to escape with the victory.    </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>However, Conrad Weiser was able to get a free kick about 35 yards away with 7 seconds remaining. With the clock stopped for an encroachment violation, Weiser sent their entire team including their goalkeeper into the Fleetwood box for one last attempt on goal. CW Sophomore midfielder Owen Meredith drilled a shot above the Fleetwood wall into the back of the net to tie the game. Both teams were exhausted during the overtime period and neither really threatened with the game ending in a well-deserved draw for both sides. He scored two goals including a brilliant solo run the length of the field finishing with a well placed left footed shot from distance. He was allover the field and out hustled his opponents throughout the game. The Scouts looked to provide him with plenty of service into the box.
