Five New Names to Know from Texas 2027 Rankings

Bingham is a defender on the Classics Elite 08 ECNL team. She is also part of the Reagan High School varsity team. She was a member of the Classics Elite 08 ECNL RL team last season. Bingham is listed as a midfielder/defender on her player profile. I've mainly seen her play right center back through the start of the season. Her physical play and aggressive nature are two of her best attributes. She is a strong defender who will put in the tackle and win the ball cleanly for her side. She battles in the duel against the center forward, there is no free pass when Bingham is on the field. She is a good passer and has shown good vision in finding the feet of her teammates with her passes. The early returns on Bingham at the club level this season shows that she is a name to watch as scouts assess the 2027 class.      Schutt is another standout from the Classics Elite program. She is a wonderfully skillful midfielder who can dance on the ball. Schutt went <a href="https://www.instagram.com/beautiful_game_08/?hl=en">viral this summer for a clip </a>from a camp when she pulled off a move that I don't think anyone else in this class could. She is one of the most skillful players in this class in her dribbling and ball control. She could lose a defender in a telephone booth. Schutt made the jump to the ECNL this season after winning a Girls Academy National Championship with Lonestar over the summer. She is a box-to-box facilitator. She is excellent at linking the play for her side. She creates chances with her precision passing and quick decision-making. The way she can shuttle the ball between the lines helps orchestrate the play for her side. She has a clean touch and plays with her head up. Hunt has shown the quality to shine at a higher level in the future.     McWeeney is another new name to the ranking. The forward from SA City was a discovery while watching game film on an opponent. The aspect of her game that stood out was her movement off the ball. She is great at creating space with her game awareness. There isn't anything exceptional about her movement, but it's the intelligence and timing of her runs that gives her the advantage. She is a solid finisher, but she could improve on that aspect. It feels like the consistency of ball-striking needs to improve to elevate her game to the next level. Considering the soccer smarts she consistently shows on the field, there is plenty of reason to believe that part of her game will develop too.     Culpepper is a versatile player who could play in any role on the field and stand out. She is another one of the 08s who is a 2027. She made a number of noteworthy plays from the game film at both high school and club level. Culpepper's drive and determination are what will get her onto the radar for scouts as the never-quit attitude is the type of player who will fit in well with up-and-coming programs.
