GA Frontier Conference: Three Texas Midfielders to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Girls Academy soccer club league 2024-2025 season started for the competitive Frontier Conference two weeks ago, on the weekend of August 31-1, with the first Conference matches taking place in Texas, Louisiana and Missouri, kicking off ten intense months of soccer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Frontier Conference has been one of the strongest in the league in the last few years and will continue to be this season as some of the most talented players in the nation represent clubs from the region.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Soccer Texas will be following the action as frequently as possible and providing coverage in text, photo and social media posts, giving the talented prospects from the Lone Star State some well-deserved recognition and exposure. We start our coverage featuring some players to watch in the upcoming season. An El Salvador international, she operates as a deep-lying playmaker and puts her stamp in basically every play created by the team, setting their tempo on the field. Diaz is very intelligent and accurate with her distribution and helps connect the dots in the team's offense. She's very active in the center of the field and does a great defensive job cutting passing lanes with her excellent possession. Another of Castillo's main strengths is her ability to immediately turn defense into offense as she's capable of connecting quick and efficient passes after winning the ball, helping her team take advantage of disorganized opponents. She's very skilled and smooth on the ball and is very difficult around the penalty box because of her excellent movement and her diverse skill set. Valdez is very direct when she has the ball and always looks to turn to the goal and drive the ball forward, which makes of her a very dangerous weapon in transition as well.
