We're now over two weeks into the high school season and there's a lot I've learned about some of the teams in the Chicago area. To begin, it seems like there's a few programs I heavily overlooked at while making my initial rankings. One of those schools is Plainfield North. The Tigers lost a nail-bitter to Naperville Central last week but picked up a huge win vs Lyons to begin the season. Another one is Grayslake Central. The Rams knocked off New Trier 2-0 earlier in the season and are currently 3-1-1 with a lone loss to Lyons.

Lyons and Leyden jump up into the rankings. Lyons had a slow start to the season but have picked up four results in a row. Most recently winning 1-0 to Grayslake Central. But the one with the largest leap is Glenbrook South. The Titans are 6-0 with wins over St. Pats, Mt. Carmel, Stevenson, and LFA among others.

On Wheaton Academy, Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='289031' first='Mason' last='Brooke'] is a name to watch. Already scoring 7 goals in 5 games. For Naperville North, [player_tooltip player_id='143966' first='Noah' last='Radeke'] continues to shine and keeps the Huskies at the #1 spot.
