Goalkeepers are a crucial position on the pitch. They need to be agile in order to save different shots whether it is the top or bottom corners, or even quick shots at them can bring out their agility. Hand-eye coordination allows goalkeepers to catch hard shots or parry the ball away from danger. Being a goalkeeper is also known as being the loneliest position on the pitch as there is only one of you. You have to be focused under an immense amount of pressure and if you make mistakes, shake them off as your team needs you at your best. Goalkeepers need to have effective communication skills to orchestrate tactics and positioning of their teammates. These six players have all of these skills to be a top goalkeeper in Florida.

Delilah is exceptional off her line, closing down space and always knowing whether to make her frame bigger or attack the ball and secure it in her hands. Her 1v1 ability seems to be one of her top qualities as she is always composed and watching the attackers' feet to get a sense of when to dive in. Her reactions are lightning fast as she can get up high or down low to save a shot with some pace behind it. Delilah knows whether to use her top hand or bottom hand to save depending on the height and this allows her to safely parry away shots. She does well with shots outside of her reach as her quick movement can get her behind shots or her hands within reach that some goalkeepers would miss. Burns is great with distribution; numerous highlights shows the ability to find teammates from goal kicks or with punts. She also does an exceptional job with her throws, adding enough pace and loft to allow easy control for her teammates to then transition into offense.

Kennedy displays great positioning and has amazing hand-eye coordination to reach those tough saves. She has a high IQ of knowing when to catch the ball or parry it into an area of no danger. McCausland is fast off her line and closes down on attackers to either scoop the ball up or make herself big to save a close shot. Her footwork on making saves allows her to move quickly and efficiently to save those shots outside of her frame. Her shot-stopping is one of her strongest attributes and seems to grow with confidence over time as she shuts down most opponents she faces. In modern day the goalkeeper needs to be good at distributing, and Kennedy showed numerous times the ability to pick out teammates with ease.

Sydney has great hand-eye coordination as she never seems to drop shots from her hand, even some that most keepers would parry due to the pace on the shot. She does great off corners and crosses, always jumping high to claim the ball and shows technique to not spill the ball to an attacker. She knows when to come off her line and always has great positioning to close the goal to the attacker and claim the ball for herself. Her shot-stopping is great, but her positioning seems to be better on saves. She never has to reach out far to save shots as she is always in position to catch the ball or parry away with ease. Her distribution is great as she can play one touch passes or find an open teammate with her throws.

Harrison is great at shot-stopping, he positions himself perfectly and can reach shots outside his frame with ease. Weitz is great at stopping penalties, always seeming to be in the opponent's head and guessing exactly where they shoot. Despite being tall, Weitz has no issue getting down low to save bottom corner shots. He has great reaction time, being able to save shots in close proximity and always parrying it away from danger. Another impressive trait of Harrison is his ability to catch corners and crosses. He positions himself and jumps higher than the rest to secure the ball. Weitz also has an ability to find teammates on long throws to quickly transition into offense.

Brayden has exceptional shot-stopping ability, getting down low or up high to parry away almost guaranteed goals. Montague is quick off his line, closing down the goal for any attacker and making his frame big to save any last ditch effort on goal. His distribution is great, offering himself as an option for his defenders to then build up play. He can play the ball both short and long and always is easy to control for his team to go on the attack. He is fantastic on penalties, using his big frame to save penalties that most goalkeepers wouldn't get to. His handling is second to none, with the ability to catch shots with extreme pace to really destroy the opponent's attack.

Tanner shows confidence on crosses and corners, never shying away from jumping in a crowd to get up high and catch or punch the ball. His distribution is great as he always throws the ball or passes into his teammates' stride so they can quickly go on the counter. What impressed me from Stuelcken was his long balls. On numerous goal kicks or free kicks in his half he played the ball into the opponent's box to cause chaos and provide chances to score. Like the rest on this list, Tanner is great at shot-stopping with quick reactions and the ability to save the tough shots. He does well to make his frame big on 1v1 chances to shut down any scoring opportunities.
