There wasn't much change at the top of the rankings as the stars of the PDA Blue 09 ECNL team kept hold of the top spots. But there were plenty of new names added to the list from both club and high school soccer. Below is a scouting report on eight of the players who either were added to the rankings or moved up with this update.

Buraszeski is a midfielder for Gill St. Bernard's. She is also a center back at the club level. Her play at the high school level has been exceptional for two seasons now. She is a leading scorer for her team and an impact player all over the field as a midfielder. She clearly looks ready to play at a faster pace. At the club level, she played center back for STA. She looks to have found a home in the midfield for PDA. She was involved in a few of the key goals for PDA during the ECNL playoffs. She is a good passer with either foot and makes passes that open up the defense with her ability to ping the ball over the top of the defensive line. Buraszeski continues to impress with her high-level soccer intelligence and could be a rapid riser in this group. The issue for her this season is that there is a logjam of talented holding midfielders on the PDA team. But she is proving too difficult to keep off the field, as she did in the playoffs.

Chen is an attacking midfielder who has 28 goals for her high school team as a sophomore. She is one of the best dribblers in this class. She is a magician with the ball. She keeps close control of it even when multiple defenders close in on her. She has good balance and looks confident playing off either foot. Chen is a talented player who should be getting looks at the college level. Based on game film, the speed of play is the question mark for the Division I level. She has the skill but can she adjust to that pace? She would be a player that might need to prove it an ID camp.

Donahue is one of the standouts on the PDA Blue 09 ECNL team. She plays as one of the back three, on the right side. She was a key piece for the team last season in the run to Richmond. She is a strong defender, but there are times when she plays it a bit safe. She could afford to be more physical as an on-ball defender and limit the opposition's options with her a bit more aggression and physicality. The potential is definitely there for that type of shutdown center back. Frankly, the professional potential is there - and considering that this is a nitpick on a player who is already among the best in her position in the ECNL. She reads the game well and sets a good line for the offside trap. She is comfortable on the ball and rarely waste a touch. She regularly breaks the ankles of forwards with her fakes on the ball. PDA uses her as a target on corner kicks with her ability in aerial duels. There is a lot to love about Donahue's game and plenty of reasons to believe she will be the top defender in this class in the future.

Tenaglia knocked on the door as a freshman with Mainland with a five-goal, two assists season. This year, she kicked the door down and announced herself as one of the best forwards in New Jersey. She has 17 goals to her credit on the campaign. She is a left-footed forward with blazing speed. She plays for NJ Surf at the club level and has done well at that club for some time. Tenaglia should be a high priority College Camp invite target. She isn't the tallest center forward, but she is tough and she uses her body well. She overcomes the defense with her speed and is an efficient finisher. She could surprise some scouts with how effective she is even against the best defenders in the region.

Gilch is a forward/midfielder from the PDA 09 ECNL team. She earned my attention during the ECNL playoffs. She was a do-everything type of center forward. She hounded the opposition into making mistakes and she quickly capitalized on those chances. She wasn't a high output forward - she did not score a ton of goals from the games I watched, but she made a number of meaningful plays to create chances for her team. She is a great teammate as she facilitates for the other players in the attack. Gilch played in the midfield and was listed as a holding midfielder at the start of last ECNL season. The positional change shows versatility and adaptability. Two attributes that all coaches should prize.

Drzyzga is a goalkeeper on the PDA 08 Girls ECNL RL team and the Immaculata Varsity side. She is five-foot-five, agile, and shows excellent technique. She moves her feet and gets side-to-side quickly. Drzyzga could be more aggressive off her line. She has good footwork and secure hands. She does well when she comes off her line to cut off angles. Drzyzga is a consistent performer at goalkeeper and been excellent at the club and high school level.

Clymer is a midfielder on the PDA South 08 ECNL team. She is also a midfielder on the Holy Cross Prep squad. She is a talented two-way player. She is good on the ball. She is a fluid athlete who is excellent at adjusting her body position in relation to the ball in order to see the majority of the field. She shows good technique in ball striking - both on the pass and the shot. She can rip a shot from outside of the box and accurately place it in the top corner of the net. Clymer has been diligent in elevating her game this season and it is paying dividends as she has been a standout at the high school level.

Another new addition to PDA this season is in goal with Lawrence. The five-foot-10 shot stopper previously played for Match Fit Academy. She is athletic and possesses quick reflexes combined with her height and wingspan, there is a high ceiling for her in the goalkeeper position. She brings game-changing ability to the position. She can dictate the 18-yard box on set pieces and be aggressive off her line in bringing in crosses. Lawrence is top player in the goalkeeper position from New Jersey.
