In Sacramento and areas around it, there are some very powerful and established clubs with top flight players. Today we take a peak at five of those players who are quite good in the Capital City. Chacing has excellent foot skills as he is very dangerous on the ball, taking on defenders and making people miss. His off ball movement makes him just as dangerous off the ball as you have to play close attention to what he is doing. He's a creative player who is also a calm finisher that can score in a variety of ways. Montero is a very athletic, two-footed right back. He is a player that can do everything well. When you see him play, you see a player that can defend 1v1, that can challenge and win the ball cleanly and can quickly transition the other way. He makes excellent wide runs and works well with the forwards, showing an understanding of what to do to make the attack efficient. He plays angled balls into area well, he can drive into the box himself as he is very quick and agile. Salcedo is a strong player, one with great skills, physicality and versatility. He can run a midfield, showing the ability to pull the strings, to move the ball accurately and efficiently while also showing the awareness to trail a play or fill space as needed. He also knows how to be disruptive in the midfield if the ball is going the other way. Raftery plays as a left outside back and can really get up and down the pitch, showing great speed and great ability. He's dangerous with the ball at his feet, showing the ability to make defenders miss and carry quite a way up the pitch, or to play a ball and then continue on a run that beats his counterpart up the left side. He also knows when to tuck in and make an underlapping run, showing a heightened awareness for the game. Wagner is a smart player, one that puts himself in great positions to be dangerous, whether he's receiving the ball in space in the midfield or making a run up the touchline as an outside defender. He has great instincts and reads the game very well, and this allows him to create opportunities for himself and his teammates. He can use either foot and he pulls the ball back on to his left foot extremely well, loosening up the defense and then shows the ability to fire off a rocket shot.
