The theme lately has been a look to the future, and it sure is bright in California. With players from the 2028 class and beyond starting to put their mark on the club game, here is a look at some of those future stars.    Baghdasarian is a daring and clever midfielder, one who plays some of the nicest through balls you can hope to see. She is fantastic about exploiting just the smallest sliver of space, be it with a pass or off the dribble. She's fantastic about letting her momentum carry her one way and then threading a beautiful ball against her momentum.     Bradish has the mental toughness and the fortitude to be an elite keeper. She's strong mentally, and that helps her maintain focus and allows her to continue to act as a leader no matter the situation. She makes big saves at the biggest moments, and she comes out for balls with ferocity and aggressiveness. She's a commanding presence who plays the game with passion.     Bradbury is a tough defender with fantastic ability. She can really dominate in the air and she is good at challenging balls on the ground, showing good instincts on when to step and when to play the attacker. She has good foot skills as well as she looks to help build, she is calm and confident and will play the ball into the midfield as opposed to just sending it route one. Her combination of physical skills and ball skills make her a tremendous player.     Feinberg makes great use of space, occupying the right places and being ready to contribute. She does not give up on a play and can often time impact the run of play by trailing and continuing on. She is a good passer, she is disruptive in the midfield and she has a very powerful right leg.     Lekousis already demonstrates good skills for someone her age. She plays up on the SoCal Reds 2011 team and is already showing good toughness, great reactions and the ability to position herself and read the game.     Lucas is a fantastic young player, who plays as either an attacking midfielder or a wide forward. She has a gear, speed-wise, that not a lot of players can get to as she accelerates so quickly. She's also like a human joystick in how agile she is, showing great ability to avoid defenders and navigate traffic. However, she's not just a finesse player. She's a physical, tough and gritty player who takes on defenders and makes challenges, showing a tackling ability most No. 10's don't possess.     Miller is a hard-working keeper with a strong dedication to the game. She is also hard-working in the mental preparation it takes to be a keeper, and it shows as she is already showing great instincts in terms of when to stay in goal, when to come out, how to close out angles and get big in order to make a big save.     Nickels is a tough, strong and physical presence in the back as she shows a hard-working attitude and a desire to not let attackers beat her. She is great at dispossessing attackers and taking the ball off of them, or being physical when necessary. She's also good with the ball, too, as she can carry forward and put a shot on goal if an opportunity presents itself.     Sabry is a midfielder with good technical and tactical ability, showing good foot skills and a great understanding when on the ball. She has good vision and passing range, as she can play a variety of balls and deliver them with accuracy, as well as possess and drive the ball forward.
