For the 2010 graduates, it was the Best of the Best, as opposed to ECNL Phoenix, and here are a handful of players who stood out, have been standing out and will be impact freshman this year.

Penn is a player that is getting better and better. She is very calm and confident on the ball, she comes back and fights for the ball, and her ball skills continue to shine. She was already very good with either foot, but her ability to cut back on to either foot looks tremendous. She cuts back on to either foot with a lot of ability, she's agile and quick and she can play out wide on either side of the formation. She can take a defender off the dribble, drag out wide and send in a cross and she can create goals for herself. She will be a tremendous freshman player at Harvard-Westlake.

Porter is a tremendous midfielder with terrific upside. I think she is going to continue to be a climber in the class of 2028 the more I see of her. She can play in multiple spots, but I like her as a No. 6. She brings No. 10 skill and creativity to that spot while maintaining the principles of the holding spot. She loves to turn and exploit space and she will take defenders on. her ability to turn and play a pinpoint ball makes it seem like she has eyes in the back of her head. She just has such awareness that she knows where everyone is.

Bott might be one of the next great players at Santa Margarita Catholic, a program that develops excellent talent. She is versatile and can play all over and do a variety of things on the pitch. She can get up the pitch with the ball, she can combine and make smart underlapping runs, and she knows when to play a ball down the line or like to split defenders. She possesses will when the team is in build up and she looks cool and calm on the ball.

Morello is a very well-rounded defender, one who stands out because of her ability to do it all. She plays on the ball well, can make herself available to receive and can break lines with her passing ability. She can keep attackers in front because she's quick, or be a physical, ball-winning center back.

Cabrera is a very skilled midfielder because she is aware of where she is on the pitch and is so good in possession at all times. She plays at a high level in terms of her ability to move the ball quickly, to combine and to occupy dangerous areas. She moves with ease as she seems to be able to glide past defenders with minimal effort. But she is anything but that, as she works incredibly hard with constant motion.

For the 2010 graduates, it was the Best of the Best, as opposed to ECNL Phoenix, and here are a handful of players who stood out, have been standing out and will be impact freshman this year.
