The Girls Academy Winter Showcase and Champions Cup kicks off from Norco on Thursday. Prep Soccer will be on hand covering the action from the SilverLakes Sports Complex. Prior to the event, we turn the spotlight onto a handful of standouts from the 2026 class who have yet to make a verbal commitment. Read the scouting report on those players below.

Jesse Lee is a midfielder on the West Coast FC GA 08 team. She is playing in Group A of the Showcase bracket at the upcoming event. She is a three-time Talent ID participant. Lee's recent highlight film shows a skillful player who keeps close control of the ball, uses both feet confidently, and makes smart decisions on the ball. She is a playmaker from the center midfield role. She is always looking toward the attacking goal and trying to create opportunities for her team with her passing. Lee has been a standout at the Girls Academy level and shown traits that will translate to the next level. She has the grades to attract top academic institutions too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9c9H5-yVu0

Stringer has been a top forward for club and high school. She is a dynamic attacking talent who can race past defenders with her pace. She is a good finisher and leading scorer for her teams. She was part of the National Talent ID event last season at the Girls Academy. The game film backs up the honors. She has the physical profile to be an early contributor at the next level. A powerful runner who cuts on a dime, Stringer is a difficult player to mark and should be on the radar for all programs looking for a goal-scorer from the 2026 group.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p47AN8eVUQw

Martin is one of the stars of the City SC 08 squad that has been successful at the Girls Academy level for the past few seasons. Martin has some positional variety. She recently played as the No. 9 and scored a pair of goals. She has played in the attacking trio mostly in recent games. She has spent time in the midfield, but there is a path for her to impact a program through a variety of positions. She is clever on the ball and works out of tight spaces with her skill. She is a diligent player in training who competes to get better every day.

Biebel previously played in the ECNL For Del Mar Sharks (now Legends FC San Diego). She is playing for City SC GA this season. And taking up, I believe, a new role in the midfield. Biebel has fit into that role seamlessly. She uses her body well to spin off defenders. She keeps possession of the ball for her side with good decision-making and accurate passing with both feet. She also works defensively to get into passing lanes and break up the rhythm of the opposition. Biebel has been a great new addition to the GA.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JIxu2-hEtQ

[player_tooltip player_id='274817' first='Jenna' last='Edgar'] was a player who stood out from game film this season in the Girls Academy. Fram has produced quite a few college players in the past few seasons, and Edgar has all the traits of another player bound to make a big impact at the next level. She has a drag-and-go move that is unstoppable. I do think there is a possibility she is recruited as a wingback for the college level. All of the qualities of a stellar wingback are there, including the 1v1 skills and pace to get down the touchline.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zDKvufIB6g

Harmon is a center back on the Fram 08 GA team. Niederhauser was highly effective at the DPL level last season. The right winger is a force on the field. She is strong on the ball and runs through challenges. She hits a good cross and shows creativity in the final third. Niederhauser impressed with her quality defensively as well. She is fearless in the tackle and a weapon in the press. She should be on the radar for all scouts looking for a right winger from the 2026 class.
