The second day of an event can be difficult for players to perform as it is such a tight turnaround between games. But I must say the energy levels seemed to be rather strong. Fitness levels and squad rotations are being handled very well by coaches. Here are some standouts from Day 2 at MLS Fest.

[player_tooltip player_id='275115' first='Peyton' last='Marmion']- Marmion played extremely well for Sac Republic today. He's a tough kid that puts his body on the line to win the ball. His timing with his slide tackles and his jockeying power are very good. He topped off his performances with a lovely assist.

Dijon Fosu- The Baltimore Armour #8 is a fantastic 2-way midfielder. He has a commanding presence on the defensive end of the field as he wins a ton of ball. Fosu is also very tidy in possession and can hit a shot real venom. He is a wanted man by a lot of colleges for good reason.

[player_tooltip player_id='83254' first='Miles' last='Potter']- Potter had a great game today for his De Anza Force side. He controlled the tempo of the game very well. His team relies on him to break lines and progress the ball forward. He is really good on the half turn and switching play.

[player_tooltip player_id='146403' first='Kaedren' last='Spivey']- What a player this young man is. Playing a couple of years up and dominating like he's a couple of years older. He is a special talent with a rare combination of athleticism and technical prowess. I am shocked the Earthquakes haven't signed him to a homegrown contract yet.

Mohamad Najdi- Scored 2 goals today against a very solid Ballistic team. One of which was an absolute banger with his left foot from from the top of the box. Very pacey and crafty player who is really good on the dribble. He is fun to watch.

Owen Beninga- Big time goalie. Playing against a loaded San Joe Earthquakes attack he made a handful of outstanding saves. He can kick a ball to the other 18 yard box if he wants to and plucks every ball out of the air with ease.

Chaz Williams- The Inter Miami Left Back had a very productive outing. His delivery on his crosses were very accurate, he has the ability to beat defenders on the dribble and whip in an early ball when needed. His defending is very astute and takes excellent angles on his recovery runs.
