Future Playmakers: NC 2027 Winger and Midfield Standouts

There are quite a few players in this positional ranking with flexibility who might end up playing a different spot in the future. She was a standout from the recent game film of CSA at the ECNL event in Florida. She's a quick-thinking midfielder with a good first touch. She's going to have a lot of scouts interested in her based on her contributions at the club level. She is a valuable piece of the Charlotte midfield. Her poise on the ball stands out from the center of the field. She's a ball hungry player and always working to get touches on the ball. She is part of the ODP National Team in the 08 age group. She's a shifty dribbler, good at cutting and using her long stride to burst past defenders. Wyshner has a smart soccer mind and makes an impact in the attacking third with her play. She also has a knack for getting on the end of crosses. She is super athletic and high energy box-to-box midfielder. She covers a ton of ground during the game. She is an active contributor in the game thanks to that willingness to run. It's hard to watch game film of the NCFC team and not remark on how often Moss is around the ball. She is a dynamic winger, good 1v1, and capable of whipping in a cross. The reason Daniel will get extra attention from scouts in this class is her finishing ability. I've never seen a youth club player with the ability to snap a header on frame like Daniel showed at the ECNL National Event in Florida recently. She's going to be unstoppable at the college level if she's paired with an accurate, speedy winger on the opposite side. She needs to improve her technique defensively. She's a willing defender, but she could improve on shutting down options with her body position and closing space quicker. She can play pretty much any position on the field, but she seems to be getting more playing time in the winger role lately. She was dominant in that spot at the high school level. She was named to the All-Regional team last season. Monteith is left footed, speedster. She has track pace and it translates to the field. She races past defenders with the ball at her feet. The obvious elite traits make her an ideal candidate as a winger, but she is also an excellent defender and can feature as an outside back as well. She creates chances with her effort. She's a dedicated defender and could star as a wingback. Lockamy was impressive during the ECNL event in Florida.
