The 'official' National Signing Day for the 2025 class came and went in November. We saw many big-time HS and Club stars from Washington State sign to prominent programs which include, [player_tooltip player_id='28058' first='Allyson' last='Laccinole'] to Oklahoma, [player_tooltip player_id='28064' first='Amelia' last='Bray'] & [player_tooltip player_id='99325' first='Alex' last='Tay'] to Stanford, [player_tooltip player_id='28390' first='Rhen' last='Ericson'] to Washington State and [player_tooltip player_id='28403' first='Samantha' last='Snorsky'] & [player_tooltip player_id='28102' first='Avery' last='O'Donnell'] to Gonzaga, just to name a few. We all know that the girls 2025 class is all but locked up when it comes to commitments at the NCAA Division 1 level BUT that doesn't mean there isn't room for a couple more girls that may be flying under the radar.

The transfer portal, coaching changes and the possibility of injuries during the college spring season, leave open a window of opportunity for some players to commit late and fulfill their dream of playing college soccer. This may be at the D2, D3 or NAIA level but I wouldn't count out a few more late commits at well-known programs at the D1 level either.

Here are 6 uncommitted 2025's that could shine at the next level:

Taylor is an aggressive defender that will add skill and technique to the back line of any college roster. She has a passion for the game the is evident with her play. Mentink has a high motor and will give her all at the first whistle and won't let up until the final whistle sounds. Her ability to win 50/50 balls in the final third when she is the last line of defense is impressive. This Washington Premier ECNL and Sumner HS product is calm, collected, dynamic and also has a great vision for the field. I have not seen a game that she hasn't tallied an assist or been a part of a counterattack that leads to a score. Taylor has been overlooked but is among the most talented defenders in Washington State. She was named 1st Team All-League and the Defensive MVP of the SPSL in 2024. Her accolades have piled up over the years and her play speaks for itself. [player_tooltip player_id='275915' first='Taylor' last='Mentink'] will make an immediate impact for the college that signs this gem hiding in plain sight.

Cailey is the epitome of hard work and dedication. If she is not on the pitch perfecting her craft, she is in the gym getting physically ready to take the next step at the collegiate level. There is no down time for this girl. She lives for soccer and will be a needed addition to colleges looking for a talented, coachable and hard-working athlete. Ridgeway plays at one of the top soccer High Schools in Washington State where she won the 2024 3A District Title and was a significant contributor throughout the season. Due to recent coaching uncertainty, Cailey is now uncommitted and looking to find a new place to call home. Ridgeway provides a dangerous spark on the outside wings with a quick touch and powerful cross. Combine that with grit and drive and you have yourself a ready-made collegiate athlete. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='58035' first='Cailey' last='Ridgeway'] to show out at the upcoming PacNW Winter Classic, January 17-20 at Starfire.

Jaiden plays for the XF G06/07 ECNL team, one of the most talented ECNL teams in the NW Conference. They have NCAA D1 commits up and down the roster and compete against the best teams in the country at ECNL showcases. Her goalkeeping skills are polished and smooth. She possesses quick and explosive movements side to side and despite her height disadvantage, she is dominant in the box on set pieces and high balls. O'Neill is aggressive in the box and commands attention. Her soft hands and quick decisions get the ball back out to her playmakers fast and efficiently. She has a strong leg that continues to improve. Her stature may not fit the prototypical GK, but her gameplay, skill and commitment exceed those of some of her college bound peers. [player_tooltip player_id='28216' first='Jaiden' last='O'Neill'] is a can't miss GK prospect that is still uncommitted that will be an amazing fit to many college programs looking to improve their tenacity and grit in goal!

Kasi has developed her craft over many years and prides herself on being able to play multiple positions without drop off. The Washington Premier ECNL product has an aggressive style of play that caters well to both her offensive and defensive prowess. She boasts a handful of skill moves that generate separation on the edge that she couples with her sneaky speed to torment defenders. Her ability to score calculated goals from many angles while also having the patience and vision to feed her teammates precisely weighted through balls and crosses, makes her a dangerous attacker. While goal scoring is a significant part of her game, her talent in the defensive 3rd should not be overlooked. Baker fights for every 50/50 ball and finds herself victorious on a high percentage of these encounters. This 2nd Team All-League HS forward and defensive midfielder has the potential to use her skills as a utility player to make a significant difference at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='28244' first='Kasi' last='Baker'] is one you do not want to miss on while filling those last couple roster spots.

One of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2025 class from Washington State is [player_tooltip player_id='139928' first='Alexa' last='Campos']. Her star quality shines at every position she plays, and she will make an immediate impact at the collegiate level. While persistence and passion can overcome some skill deficiencies, it is best to just have the whole package. That package of persistence, passion AND skill is what Alexa brings. Her top tier goal scoring talent is lethal. She can score from distance with power and close range with finesse. Alexa's defensive skills are also on point. She uses her smaller frame to gain leverage on her larger peers and then skill and quickness to win possession. If that isn't enough, she also has noteworthy speed that sets her apart from her opponents when she's on the pitch. The 2024 Chiawana HS 1st Team All-League and Eastside FC ECNL'er, is a multi-tool asset that is poised for stardom when she gets her opportunity. Alexa and her Eastside FC G06/07 ECNL team will be at the upcoming ECNL Florida and Dallas showcases where she will undoubtedly put on a show.

Dakota is a versatile midfielder that finds herself excelling in the attack. Her soccer IQ is put on display daily with her keen sense of spatial awareness and player positioning. She understands advanced concepts of movement and seemingly knows where her teammates will be at any given distribution. Hansen has a strong leg that allows her to be consistently proficient at set pieces and calm and collected with goal scoring opportunities. Her burst speed and agility in traffic is dynamic. She can create significant separation immediately that keeps her in control throughout possession. Her aerial game is another tool she can showcase. [player_tooltip player_id='140222' first='Dakota' last='Hansen'] is a multi-year GA Talent ID selection and High School star that has the skill, passion and drive to flourish in her future collegiate soccer career.
