As part of the scouting effort for the 2028 group in Ohio, a common theme emerged with the young standouts stealing the spotlight on many of the 2010 games. The 2029 class is shaping up to be an all time great for the state of Ohio. The top talent is just starting to emerge from this group. Below is a look at the top five players in this class at this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='280208' first='Jordyn' last='Prime']

Center back. Disrupter. Distributor.

Prime has a great last name because her game is setting her up to be playing in the spotlight in the future. She's been excellent for Ohio Premier 2010 this season. She was in the conversation to be among the top ranked center backs in the 2028 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='280206' first='Addison' last='Hamm']

Defender. Top talent. Showstopper.

Hamm was the player from [program_tooltip program_id='279052' first='Columbus' last='United'] that kept standing out from every game. It was tough to believe this young 2010 was already playing this well at a difficult tactical position. She has been called into multiple US Talent ID events and looks to be on the cusp of making that leap to the full national team. She's got the potential to be playing at that level.

[player_tooltip player_id='280204' first='Angelica' last='Alzugaray']

Magician. Skillful. Playmaker.

Alzugaray is a 2011 who plays up on the CUP 2010 GA Gold team. She was called into the US U14 Girls National Team last June as one of four players from the 2011 age group. A talented dribbler with dazzling skills, she was outstanding during the Girls Academy event in December while playing against top competition a year older. She's a brilliant attacking midfielder who should be considered among the most talented players in the 2029 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='280183' first='Quinn' last='Luecke']

Youth National Team. Energy. Speedy.

Luecke is on the youth national team. She's been a regular call-up to US Soccer Talent ID events. She can play in the defense or midfield. She always wants to do more so it feels like midfield would be a good home for her, but she's been listed as a defender on the Youth National Team rosters. Luecke can do a bit of everything. She's an excellent 1v1 defender. She's got the energy and endurance to make full-field runs consistently. She's got quick feet to get out of tackles. There's a small list of players who have the big time potential at the sam level as Luecke.

[player_tooltip player_id='280201' first='Reese' last='Brickwood']

Midfielder. Technical. Youth National Team.

Brickwood is a midfielder on the Internationals 2010 ECNL team. She's taken part in the US Soccer U14 Girls Youth National Team camp last year. She's got the technical ability to be an international player. She also strikes the ball with excellent technique.
