Excellent at reading the game and cleaning up multiple through balls in behind his back line, he saved his team time and time again, especially in the first half. He has all the tools of a solid defender; speed, size, communication skills, and tactical awareness. He was the captain of his side and it was well deserved, as his presence made a huge difference in the scrimmage. Equally good in both spots, his work ethic, quick feet, and smarts played a big factor in the game. He is very clean with the ball and makes good attacking decisions on the flank and in the center of midfield. He scored his team's game-winning goal off of a corner kick from about 12 yards out. He sat on top of the center backs and picked up second balls with great anticipation while changing the point of attack in possession. He is technical and has good vision. He scored an absolute gem of a goal in the second half to put his team up 3-0. Receiving the ball from the left side, about 25 yards out, he touched it once and prepared it on his right side. What happened next was nice! He smashed a shot that dipped, curved and hit the back of the net before his shooting foot touched the ground. A center-back with a very high soccer IQ, he played a nearly flawless game. Almost every decision with and without the ball was correct, from knowing when to step and win an attacking ball, to dropping and giving cover and balance. His short-range and long-range passing were spot on all night. He was left 1 v 1 multiple times and came out on top every time. He scored the Raider's second goal on a rebound on a set piece. He tucked it from about 10 yards out with a cool and confident demeanor.
