What more could you ask for from the captain. Liam brought it all Friday night, showcasing his elite finishing. The opening goal of the game he brilliantly chipped the keeper, and scored the second by slotting it in the bottom corner on a quick counter. He feels very composed in front of goal, a must have quality for an elite striker. What impressed me the most during this game was Liam's attacking positioning, always seeming to get in the right spots when he needed to. His third goal of the game he jumped in front of the defender to tap in the cross, showing his instinctual abilities. He is also a physical presence in the air, scoring the 4th goal of the contest from a header following a cross. He assisted all three of the first half goals and really looked the part. His second assist of the game was a no-look back-heel flick on, splitting both center backs and sending his striker through on goal. He is great at winning back possession either through tough tackles or intercepting balls, very good in the air clearing out crosses with his head, and some nice passing around the back. He scored the final goal of the game off a free kick from about 45 yards out, showcasing the power he has with his boot. He can send strikers in on goal from inside his own box. A true center mid, Adan simply does everything for the team. Good passes and dribbles when on the ball, plays with his head up, wins the ball back up high in the midfield to start quick counter attacks. There really isn't much he cannot do. An intelligent player as well, Adan makes great decisions on what to do with the ball, and prioritizes controlling possession of the ball and setting up attacking play. Noah is a very creative attacking player, often using his quick feet to get around defenders. He has a great first touch as well, an ability to bring the ball down from goal kicks or long balls up top. What I loved the most about Noah is work rate. Constantly pressing with the strikers up top, and even tracking back frequently to help out on defense, Noah has a high motor from kickoff to the final whistle.
