Sophomore’s Tearing It Up This Season

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are a ton of Sophomores who are balling out around California. Some have fantastic pedigree; ECNL all-stars, USYNT Call-Ups, while others are relatively unknown. Stats aren't everything for picking these young women out. Team rankings and level of competition matter as well. All of these player's have shown a fantastic body of work throughout this years regular season thus far. However, she has been the Royals primary source of offense this season. Ranked 108th in California she has scored 28 Goals and dished out 10 dimes. She seems to prefers playmaking and helping her teammates score first. She is 2nd in California in assists with 20. She's not scared to score herself either scoring 15 of her own. She's a force to be reckoned as she towers over most of her peers. Really powerful shot and excellent vision as well. She plays for an excellent 32nd ranked Apple Valley team and she is their star player. 25 goals and 6 assists so far this season for the the Legends product. She has been in USYNT camp and there's a reason for that. She's a lefty who is so comfortable on the dribble and if it wasn't obvious by the number of goals she has scored already this season. She's one of the best defensive midfielders in the country at club level for MVLA. And when playing high school she get's to be the primary scorer. She has 23 goals and 7 assists so far this season. It must be great for a player who spends so much time heroically defending for her club team scoring goals and providing offense. She doesn't show up on any club pages that I was able to find. No highlights or anything. However, what she has done this season for Santa Maria is amazing. She is leading all sophomores in assists with 26. 6 dimes away from her closest competitor. She has also scored 19 goals which puts her in the top 25 in scoring.
