2026 GHSA Boys Midfielders You Need to Know

He switches the ball from side to side stretching out the defense, and can find open teammates with long balls played directly to their feet over the top of defenders. He plays with his head up, scanning around the pitch for teammates and defenders. His very aggressive on the defensive side of the ball as well, hunting down the ball and battling for possession. A very technical player who uses his pace and dribbling skills to get by defenders on the wing. His technical dribbling abilities aren't just above average, he has a certain flair to his dribbling that as a fan is exciting to watch. He also possesses a high intelligence of the game as well, making smart decisions with the ball on the pitch. A superb passer as well, he frequently displays some nice touch and go passing with teammates. Some nice one touch flick ons as well as some tiki-taka quick passing. He has some great finishing and can shoot the ball with both feet, even from outside of the box. His dribbling is at a very high level, often pulling off multiple skill moves in succession to get past multiple defenders. The center mid seems to be everywhere on the pitch when you watch the Warriors play. A composed player that looks to keep possession when on the ball. Miles has been racking up assists for the Warriors this season, already with 8 assists in 7 games as well as a couple goals as well. This shows Miles vision in the midfield and his ability to pick out open teammates and send them through on goal.
