His soccer IQ is very high and his intensity never wavers. Very clean with the ball, he generated some dangerous counter attacks for the Raiders, who knocked on the opposing door often, but could only seem to tuck away just one during the entire 80 minutes. Daniel's ability to read the game and excellent timing virtually shut down the visiting Bulldogs, allowing them two shots on the night. He, however, played in the center of midfield and did a great job. He is tenacious and intense. He is very good with the ball at his feet and running at players. With big, powerful strides he can blow by defenders and his size gives him an advantage in the air.
